Riley licked her lips softly as she stood in the darkness, watching silently as Durriken was introduced to the crowd, her heart pounded somewhat hard in her chest as she listened to the cheers and clapping from the crowd. It was a somewhat new, exhilarating feeling, as she felt her adrenaline pumping into overdrive. She watched as he 'fell' from the pedestal that he had been standing on.
The lights, somewhat blinding really, searched for her as they introduced her (in a manner that made her blush slightly). The cheers and such was a little overwhelming for someone who spent most of her life in the shadows, and so she smiled a bit as she made her entrance, using the familiar 'Stellar Body' spell, that made her blow like a shooting star as she shot around the tent, flying over the crowds of people, stopping occasionally to wave, or slowly to do some sort of twirl or dive in the air, before circling around a final time and bringing herself to land in the center of the ring.
As she stopped, her clothing became evident, though in all honesty she looked more like a magician's assistant than an acrobat. She wore a pair of striped stockings, somewhat different from her usual, as they were a tad on the transparent side, unlike her other, heavier ones, as well as a black 'ruffly' (as she had earlier described it) skirt, as well as a black and white striped tanktop like shirt, with a corset around her midsection.
All and all, her clothing was a tad tighter and more form fitting than usual, which made her a little shy, but she ignored this feeling.

”Now from when I peaked in earlier, it is clear that we won’t be seeing a traditional acrobatic show but would you expect such a mundane act from such two famous mages?!” he paused for the moment as the crowd cheered for their guild. It was clear most of the patrons were from Onibas. “Now, I’ll turn the show over to these two and let them give you a show your be talking about for years to come!”
With that the mic was pulled high into the tent as the men walked off. As the man walked out Durriken turned toward Riley and bowed slightly to the women. He then pulled a card from his deck and held it in his hand. He tossed it in front of him as it hovered and spun in place showing a blindfolded women holding two swords in her hands.
“Spirits of Tarot here me decree, send unto me the twin blades of fate.”
The card the shot into the sky and with his purple magic circle inscribed with astral symbols and other mystical runes his two daggers fell from the sky which he effortless caught in his hands. They faced behind him and he gave a motion toward Riley.
“Ladies first Mistress.” He said with a grin.

(Still have no muse for this thread. D:
I think it's because I'm out of my element or something... Who knows...)
Riley listened intently as the announcer continued to get the crowd pumped up. She chuckled a little to herself, her body still glowing faintly from the spell that was idling in her body. She pulled a small orb out of no where, it wasn't entirely obvious where it had come from, but perhaps the ruffles of her dress had been hiding it.
At any rate, it was the flash bomb from earlier, that Durriken had suggested making us of, which she played with for a few moments, tossing it up and down in her hand and eying him thoughtfully. She tossed it into the air, somewhat towards him, and activated it, effectively blinding and stunning those in the audience. While Durriken was 'blinded', she summed a pillar of lava under his feet, with a plate of hardened lava to prevent him from being burned to death, easily sending him upwards on it, towards the roof of the large tent.

From their previous plan when Durriken saw Riley pull out an item he closed his eyes and waited for them to go red from the flash bomb going off. When they did he opened his only slightly dazed eyes and crouched. He felt the ground beneath him shake as he was sent up high into the air. The illusion was well crafted and it appeared as if he was immune to the lava. At the top of the geyser he pulled out another card and his feet glowed as he jumped from the sheet of cooled lava and did a flip landing with his knees crooked around a trapeze bar. This jump caused the bar to begin moving sending him on a downward arc across the tent.
As he decended he focused his eyebrows pushing together as he whipped the daggers in an arc toward Riley. They flew in her general direction and from the distance the audience was at, looked like they would hit, he watched them though as he arced waiting for Riley to do something to block something and if she didn’t he would cut the magic to the blades making them vanish. He could feel the strain increasing though as they flew further and further from him.

Rather than trying to block the daggers, Riley extended a hand, drawing a small circle with magic, using a single finger. The circle solidified, and two orbs of light flew forth, clashing head on with the daggers and 'destroying' them in an explosion of light. She had to admit, Heavenly Body magic was pretty showy.
Not that she got much of a chance to think of this, as her eyes followed Durriken around the ring, not really even taking notice of the crowd anymore as she was so enthralled in their 'fight'. Occasionally, she could hear the crowd roar and applause, but largely, her attention was on her partner.
To chase him, she summoned a spell which she had more control over it's movements. Above the crowd, near the top of the tent, the points of the Aquila constellation appeared. They joined together by threads of light, and with another blinding flash turned into a glowing yellowish white bird that was made of magic, although fairly large in size, perhaps large enough to carry off a person.
The 'bird' dove after Durriken, guided by the movements of Riley's hands as it weaved around obstacles and swept rather low above the head's of the people in the crowd as it flew about in circles, each circle bringing it closer to Durri, until the 'bird' was practically close enough to touch him.

As the bird got closer Durriken relaxed his legs having them holding him up less and less. Just as the bird was about to strike he totally relaxed his legs and he fell like a stone from the trapeze bar. He few in a small arc as he watched the bird pass overhead. He then threw the cloth around his arm at the bird and it latched on around the birds talon. This time instead of having his arm nearly ripped from his socket the jerk emerged at his core which was much easier on his body.
He then pulled out a card and as the bird flew around he fired bursts of very weak but bright fire at the lamps lighting half the ring. When he did the people in charge of them shut them off one by one and his fire set off a small firework to simulate the light being destroyed.
As the bird flew from the darkness to the light over the audience Durriken waved and blew a kiss to the audience. He then got the cloth to release and he dropped to the ground rolling before jumping to his feet.
“Care to try again?” he said winking and glancing down to his feet.
If Riley looked at his feet she would notice that they were now glowing with a slight red glow signifying his one card was activated that let him run on lava or walk on it with impunity as long as it stayed below his feet.

Riley smiled a little to herself as she watched the act unfold, most of which was more or less just a spur of the moment sort of deal. As he escaped the 'wrath' of the bird shaped spell, she chuckled a little, amused by the show that followed. The guild master of Griffin Wing licked her lips, watching as, after a series of events, he arrived on the ground and subtly indicated towards his feet - and a spell she recognized no less.
"I'm only getting started," she assured, and the ground beneath her own feet began to crackle and crumble as steam poured upwards, the glow from the magma between her feet casting a strange, eerie lighting on her body, while the rushing steam blew her hair about somewhat wildly. A disc of hardened magma appeared beneath her feet, and began to lift her off of the ground as lava flooded from the cracks, creating a thin layer of lava that seeped towards Durri.
Under her own feet, the disc was lifted by the pressure of the magma, hoisting her higher and higher off of the ground, until she towered over him on a pillar of spurting lava, "tag, I'm it," she smirked, as the pillar turned into a wave, which crashed downwards. In spite of it's somewhat violent crashing, she seemed to have complete control of it, as none of the hot magma splashed towards Durriken. However, as she had said she would do, she began to 'surf' towards him on the wave of lava.

Durriken shuffled his feet quickly as the magma seeped toward him to firmly put him on top of it and not in front of it. His magic protected him easily against the magma’s heat he just had to be careful with the splashing since even the tops of his feet were not protected against the magma’s damaging properties.
The crowd oo’ed and aw’ed at the dramatic nature the show was taking. What lights were left dimmed dramatically to show off the strange glow the magma gave off. Durriken turned and gave a dramatized scared expression at Riley’s words and turned and ran from the wall of magma.
When he got enough distance he turned to the crowd.
“You know what they say when a storm hits the coast, ‘Go to Higher Ground’”
And with that he threw his arm out and a cloth grabbed onto a cross beam for the tent and pulled him high into the darkness with only his blinking purple lights showing his outline. He then jumped link a monkey from beam to beam using his cloth to assist him on the longer jumped before he found himself behind Riley’s wave on the smooth patch of magma behind it. He let himself down and stood on it waiting for Riley to notice. When she did finally notice he would wave and grin. He then pulled out his Five of Wands and shot a feeble fireball in her general direction.

Riley chased Durriken around the ring, riding her wave of lava with relative ease as he tried to 'escape' her - it was actually quite fun, in fact. She watched as he once more escaped to the heights of the tent, leaving her to simply ride the wave around and around the ring (which she was quite content to do), as she pretended to look for him, raising a hand and resting it above her eyes, as though this would somehow increase her range of vision.
As he 'disappeared', she grinned a little to herself, hearing some random people in the crowd telling her to look behind her, she twisted towards Durriken, and the wave of lava crashes forwards all at once - seeming to simply disappear in a splash as it seeped back into the ground.
A fireball was launched at her, and rather than dodged it, she extended a finger, drawing a circle with it, the magical energies formed a small black hole, which faced the spell, and sucked it in. She smirked a little at him, making the spell disappear with a wave of her hand, before quickly drawing another circle. The Circle of Abyss, being the first, and the Reverse Circle being the second that she had drawn.
The Reverse Circle, as it's name suggested, spit the fireball back at Durriken, while Riley wagged a finger slightly, "now, now, you shouldn't play with fire against a mage with fire affinity," she lightly teased, and with an gently swing of both of her hands, dark and light orbs hovered about her in wait, the homing orb once more, no doubt.
They simply levitated around her for the time being, as though giving Durri the chance to do something in response, if he so pleased.

“I guess I need to up my game then.”
Durriken then flipped a switch and the purple lights on his costume went out. Before she could lock the orbs on him he disappeared with a large leap into the darkness above once more and this time there was no lights to give away his position. After moving enough to not be able to be guessed at he summoned his long sword that whooshed gently with wind energy.
He then made his way over to where Riley was once more and positioned himself over the guild master. He then leaped from the rafters his sword wielding to cleave the women. On his wrist though his Five of Wands was attached.
When Riley stopped his attack and his fall, like he know she would, he would be at the perfect position to blast her with the fireball at close range, it was the perfect plan.
