Scroll for mission lists.
Missions will be your main source of both Jewels and EXP. While soloing, you must take a mission your own rank or lower, but as part of a group you can accept a mission as high as A rank without requiring an A rank mage. However, it is important to remember that just because you can accept an A rank mission doesn't mean the characters involved will be able to safely complete it. B rank mission and higher pose a considerable risk that will likely mean death for ill prepared mages, despite the tempting rewards.
Staff has the freedom to hijack your thread whenever they see fit should they see that supposedly difficult missions are going off without a hitch.
S and Z rank missions can only be accepted outside of site plots/event and are usually considered 100 year missions. The rewards are typically new items, or abilities. These 100 year missions requires ten Role-Play threads to be completed.
Missions that are D-A have a flat base reward of jewels and EXP.
The chart below dictates the EXP your character will earn for specific mission levels, as well as the post requirements. You can + 10 EXP for each extra person that joins your thread.
| D Rank Mage

Your character may choose to accept missions from a variety of sources, depending on what bests suits their personalities and interests. General Missions, which are issued by the government and locals alike. Magic usage to complete these quests are frowned upon and may result in loss or complete denial of income (but outside of towns this is irrelevant as per usual and if you never tell them the difference they'll never know). Mage Operative Missions, which allow the use of magic so long as the mission is completed. However, they generally prefer that you do not use magic reckless as that gives a bad name to mages. These missions are not strictly legal, so accept at your own risk. Criminal Underground Missions, illegal missions passed by word of mouth through pub masters, innkeepers and the like. As long as the specifications are met, 'employers' don't have a preference as to how you get results. This type of mission will most likely cause a raise in bounty. Finally, there are also Government Missions, which are strictly reserved from those that work for the government and have their own specifications per mission.
