Legend also says that each set of armour is blessed by at least three different priests the moment it is crafted, which no doubt has contributed to the rather absurd and overvalued price tag attached to it. The entirety of the blade appears rusted and the edges look as if they have been chipped away by time. Anyone attempting to lift the weapon will also soon realize that the claymore weighs a good ton or two, making it impossible to wield in battle by normal folk. Those gifted in the art of magic, however, can infuse the weapon with their mana in order to cause its weight to drop to almost that of a feather. Although this constant drain can be quite taxing over time, skilled users will be able to use this to their advantage by cutting off their flow of mana at the right moment to cause the weapon to come crashing down with the force of an elephant. Special Effect: five mana per round to make it lighter. Cost: 10,000 Jewels. Item Name: Grim’s Scythe Item Type: Weapon Physical Description: A large two-handed scythe that gives off an almost otherworldly feel. Each swing causes the weapon to part with a strange whistling sound that could almost be mistaken for the ghostly call of the grim reaper himself. The scythe is unique as it allows the wielder to expend a C-Ranks worth of mana in order to unleash a crescent moon-shaped blast of wind that will cut through foes with the force of a B-Rank attack. The rapier’s guard is lined with gold and jewels, which extends all the way to the start of the needle-like blade. Not only is the durability of the weapon immense, allowing it to stave of attacks from much larger weapons, but the blade itself has been enchanted by some sort of strange and foreign language. Special Effect: By expending a B-Ranks worth of mana, the wielder can cause the symbols to activate, at which point a faint yellow aura will begin oozing from the tip of the blade. This aura will trail the blades movements and remain suspended in the air like a drawing. Although this aura does nothing except remain in the air for 3 posts, after which time the weapons power will need to be reactivated, the aura is deadly sharp and possesses the cutting power of an A-Rank attack. Not only can the wielder use the blade trail to draw himself a barrier when in need of some defense, but it can also be used to cage an opponent and trap him or her in an incredibly sharp prison. Although no one has lived to be able to confirm this, it is said that if the intended target of the throwing knife moves after the weapon has left the wielders hands, the knife may shift its own direction and trajectory on its own once per throw at the cost of C-Rank mana.
