Of course Syana had never really gone back to Syo. Something in her body told her that he just wouldn't return so she had decided to hang around Kunugi for another day or two. Pressing her fingers to her necklace, she closed her eyes and took a slow deep breath. With the sun setting in the distance, the hotel she had decided to stay at were busy working on the meals for the evening, but Syana was more interested in exploring the town some more. As she made it out onto the foyer, a board with lots of general news had caught her eye. It wasn't exactly extravagant. It was just a big brown wooden board with a few pictures of missing animals and some new bulletins. It was the sight of a mission that caught her eye. It seemed that people wanted someone to explore the temple. A C-rank mission? Syana went to take it off the board when one of the hotel's Desk clerks had placed their hand on her shoulder. With an awkward glance to the side, the clerk tugged her shoulder back slightly. Turning around to face the clerk with a puzzled gaze, Syana's arm left the board. Was she not allowed to grab it?
"Are you uh... Interested in that?" They asked with a careful gaze over Syana. Syana's eyes switched from the clerk to the board and back. She pondered on it for a few more seconds before turning her whole body to the clerk with a warm, calm smile on her lips. "Yes, if it's not too much trouble." The clerk's face stung a shade of pink and she shook her head frankly with surprise. "It's not too much problem, it's just there were two other wizards who were here the other day and it's just you don't seem to have the mark on your body so I thought I'd stop you and let you know. We didn't really get anything about it from them so..." Syana looked towards the paper before smiling. "I'll do it, if it's okay..." She replied, but the clerk jumped in surprise. It seemed she had more to say. "Miss, it's just we promised to notify them so we were debating just who to pick because they're both D rank Mages from what I gathered and we didn't really want to put them in danger so we said we'd put them on hold and wait for a stronger mage and..." Syana looked towards the side in thought before pressing her fingers to the clerks arms. "I want to go with them both." She stated calmly with a small smile on her lips. "I'm sure we'll be fine all together." It seemed like the clerk had no qualms to that as she went to the desk and began to make action in to notifying the other Mages who had interest in the quest while Syana stood there gazing at the quest with excitement.

She was probably being too ambitious. She looked at the general missions board and when she spotted that there was a temple that was close to Onibas, she had to jump at the opportunity. There was only one problem. It was listed as a C-rank mission and she was still D-rank. At first, she thought she could try and put her foot down and force her way in. That didn't work and flustered the clerks more than anything.
Eventually, after she discarded her pride and begged for the opportunity, she managed to convince them to put it on hold. It was not the most elegant solution, but it was a solution nonetheless. Ever since that agreement was reached, she had been waiting enthusiastically, her eagerness nearly bursting. Just what possibilities were there to be found? What treasures and new discoveries were there to be made?
Time passed and Kasumi began to get worried that no one else was interested in the quest. She wasn't sure how much time left her guildmaster would allow her to be in Onibas, especially since she was only a D rank mage. She headed to the foyer, hoping that the good news would come today.
"Excuse me, were you one of the mages who expressed an interest in the temple quest?" One of the clerks asked. Kasumi quickly nodded her head, her attention now focused on the clerk. "There is a mage who has requested you to join her on the quest. Is that ok with you?"
"Yes!" Kasumi exclaimed loudly. The clerk jumped at the sudden increase in volume while Kasumi blushed in embarrassment. "Where can I meet the mage?" Kasumi then asked, making sure she didn't shout while trying to hold back her excitement. The clerk pointed towards a girl wearing clothing that she had never seen before which she could only marvel at. Moving quickly towards the girl, she stopped next to her, beaming widely.
"Are you the mage that wants to go to the temple?" Kasumi eagerly asked, her eyes sparkling with excitement. "My name is Kasumi Ito of the Fairy Tail guild. It's nice to meet you!"

"Are you sure you can handle this?" The clerk looked over the mission poster, and then glanced back to Taylor. He shifted from side to side and sized her up, looking her up and down. She was wearing a black suit that complimented her short hair and the gun she had holstered at her side. The young mage gave him a look, and then nodded. He did not know her mage rank, and she was not legally required to tell him. She narrowed her eyes and tore down the poster, almost as if in defiance of the clerk.
"Now wait," he held his hand out to stop her from leaving. "Let's wait for someone else to come and do the mission with you." He motioned to a seat on the side of the room. Taylor just stared at him for a moment from under her heavy black eyeliner, narrowing her eyes. With a hearty flip of her hair, she turned to leave with the mission paper in her hand. She stopped. Sighing, she put the paper back on the board and waited for other mages to come along and take up the mission. Without giving the clerk another look, she went over and leaned on a shadowed wall, seemingly blending in with the darkness.
Taylor opened her eyes to the sound of a high-pitched voice. She glanced around the room again, her eyes falling on a young girl. The young girl seemed particularly hyper, and her red hair bounced slightly with every word. She was facing another woman with elaborate clothing.
"Taylor. Lions Heart." She said, striding up to them, "I am the other mage that took this mission. We should brief each other on our magic before we head into battle together." Taylor stood assertively in front of the other two women, taking her gun off its sling and twirling it around her finger. "I use dark magic, specifically in relation to guns. That's it. No close range fighting for me." She looked expectantly at the other two.

Syana stood there patiently while the clerk ran off to retrieve the other two Mages who had been awaiting to join in on the mission. Syana began to grow very curious of who they were, wondering on their appearance and if they were a girl or boy. This would definitely be a great story to tell Syo. One of three people going on a mission together and having fun. Syana would have made new friends. Her heart began to race and she pressed her hands to her chest, clasping them together with one atop of the other and closing her eyes as she imagined Syo's face. As usual, her heart raced at the thought of him and she did miss him, but she felt like it wouldn't be long before she could see him again. With that said, she heard the door open and looked in the direction to see a rather cute red-haired girl who was small. It seemed like she began to have a conversation with the clerk and then her eyes moved towards Syana's direction and then she dashed over with a wide smile on her face. Syana watched her, turning to face her.
"Are you the mage that wants to go to the temple?" Her voice was a little on the high side, but it just screamed adorable. "My name is Kasumi Ito of the Fairy Tail guild. It's nice to meet you!" Fairy Tail? That was a name she hadn't heard in a while. She wondered how the guild was doing in this time.
As she parted her lips to say something, someone new came over. They were covered in black clothing and looked slightly menacing. Syana's gaze shifted towards the girl who addressed herself as Kasumi before looking back towards the newcomer.
"Taylor. Lions Heart." The newcomer introduced herself as she was making her way over to the group. "I am the other mage that took this mission. We should brief each other on our magic before we head into battle together." The thought of the three of them working together gave Syana butterflies. The team working together, fighting back to back. Suddenly the girl unhitched her guns and twirled them by the trigger around her finger. "I use dark magic, specifically in relation to guns. That's it. No close range fighting for me." It soon became obvious that there might be some dispute between Syana and the newcomer. Syana raised her hand and gave a small wave.
Now it was time to introduce herself and what better way than to greet them both with a warm smile?
"My name is Syana and my expertise focus around light. I'm a support mage so I'm ranged too." Syana's lips kept the painted smile on them as she spoke, her soft voice filled with the usual warmth that accompanies it every time she utters a word.
"Should we get going then?" Syana piped up once the introductions were done. "We have to explore the graveyard. Do either of you know where it is or where to go?"

Kasumi watched as a girl as ple as a ghost made their way towards her. Kasumi made an effort not to look like she was staring at her as she introduced herself as a member of the Lions Heart. One of the other guilds in Fiore, Kasumi couldn't help but raise her eyebrow. She was most definitely going to report this to the guildmaster after the mission. The only thing she really knew about the Lions Heart was their adherence to formal wear, and Taylor was no exception.
Kasumi stayed quiet as Taylor and Syana explained their magic to her. Almost anyone could notice that their composition was less than ideal. For one thing, none of them fought at close range. It was noticeable from their builds that none of them were physically strong and could act as a front line for them to cast their magic. This was especially a problem for Kasumi, since her magic required concentration and didn't allow her the freedom to move.
"Unfortunately, I'm not a front line fighter either. My magic is Wind Song magic, which means I use songs to control the wind and use wind magic. In order to sing my songs, I need to concentrate and cannot move, which is less than ideal considering the composition we have." Kasumi explained, chewing the side of her lip in thought. Kasumi realized that she would need to be smart about what magic she could use. Considering the fact that the magic being used would be hard to protect her, she was going to have to start with offensive magic to protect herself.
"I used to live around this area, so I can take you guys to the graveyard." Kasumi remarked, moving towards the door and looking back at the two of them. "Since everyone is here, let's get going!"
- - - - - -
Kasumi took them to the graveyard and after some quick searching, they managed to come across the temple mentioned on the board. To describe it as old would be an injustice. Symbols adorned the walls and the fauna of the graveyard had made it into the nooks and crannies of the old brickwork, as if assimilating the old temple into the surroundings.
"We don't know what this temple has to offer, but as long as we're careful, I'm sure we can make it through this." Kasumi said, holding back the sheer excitement that was going through her. A big cheshire grin spreaded across her face as she turned towards the others. "You guys ready to go?"

Taylor pushed her teeth over her bottom lip, biting down lightly. "The synthesis of our magic types is not ideal, but we can cope." She sifted her weight to one side and crossed her arms, her eyes shifting sideways to glance at the Katsumi. Her eyes were like big moons, looking up at Taylor. Taylor scowled back at her, but as soon as they made eye contact, the other girl's eyes shifted away. Taylor decided not to comment on it. "Let's go." Was all she said, before turning to head out the door.
---
The sprawling walls of the temple stretched out before them, the light yellow brick shining in the afternoon light. Taylor stood defiantly in front of the other two, her arms still crossed over her chest. Their shadows stretched out behind them, gradually growing longer with the setting sun. Taylor became more comfortable, slacking her stance and removing her glasses. She turned back to look at her teammates.
"Well, good thing you're a light mage." She glanced towards the light brown haired mage, giving her clothing another up-down. At second glance, her style was not bad at all. Taylor cursed her paleness, wishing she could pull off something like that. She shook her head, and then looked to their other companion. "Give Red a light, but stay in the back. I'll be fine in front. Shadows are my specialty." Taylor nodded for confirmation and turned to face the temple entrance. She proceeded forward, loading her gun while she walked, infusing each with dark elemental energy. Once they were ready, she walked into the inky blackness, gun ready.
A gunshot. Taylor looked into the blackness, pistol held in the post-firing position. The target was out of sight. The young woman inched forward, motioning for her companions to stay behind. Without a light, the darkness consumed her until not a trace was left. There was no sound for a while.
"Rat. " Taylor said, calmly walking back to the other two mages. She held a grimy black rat by the tail, a bullet wound still apparent in its body. "Nothing to worry about." As soon as the words left her mouth, her body stiffened. She slowly turned her head, staring out behind her. "That, however, is not a rat. " Two glowing eyes stared out at them.

"Unfortunately, I'm not a front line fighter either. My magic is Wind Song magic, which means I use songs to control the wind and use wind magic. In order to sing my songs, I need to concentrate and cannot move, which is less than ideal considering the composition we have." Kasumi pointed out after she had explained her magic. She seemed to think about it and Syana felt like pointing out that there would be a point in time where they could always work it out to their advantage, but decided best to keep quiet as who was Syana to say something as straightforward as that. "The synthesis of our magic types is not ideal, but we can cope." Taylor spoke up and Syana sensed a small twang of tension.
"I used to live around this area, so I can take you guys to the graveyard. Since everyone is here, let's get going!" Kasumi finally decided to pipe up before the silence could linger much longer. With everyone staring at the three girls and questioning their styles and appearances. Syana just felt the eyes on her back probably questioning her clothing style, but she brushed it off. "Let's go." Taylor stated abruptly and was already on her way behind Kasumi leaving Syana to follow ensuite with anticipation as she caught up with the other three just to turn back to look at everyone was gawking and with a wide, happy smile - she waved goodbye. --
"We don't know what this temple has to offer, but as long as we're careful, I'm sure we can make it through this." Kasumi piped up when they came into range of the temple. She had a huge cat-like smile on her face and it struck Syana's heart. Something about Kasumi was so adorable and she knew she couldn't wait to express it to Syo and tell him all about it. "You guys ready to go?" With that said, they made their way towards the entrance of the temple. The walls felt like they were shrinking around the three and Syana felt claustrophobic, but that soon disappeared when Taylor addressed her, "Well, good thing you're a light mage." Syana nodded, watching them from behind. "Give Red a light, but stay in the back. I'll be fine in front. Shadows are my specialty." Taylor continued. Syana guessed that when she said "Red" she meant Kasumi. Red, what a cute nickname. Taylor made her way into the temple, her body getting engulfed in the darkness and Syana found herself following closely behind the two with her body ready. She didn't really feel scared, at least she didn't know what feeling scared meant.
With her head held high and a smile on her face while she reached her hand out and took hold of Kasumi's hand and let a small ring of light form around Kasumi's wrist, illuminating the area around her. Letting go of Kasumi's hand, she gave her a reassuring smile in the bright light before looking on ahead with the smile still plastered to her face. Suddenly a loud gunshot echoed through the hallway and Syana's attention honed in on the direction. She stopped in her tracks with her arm held out towards Kasumi. Silence enveloped the area and all Syana heard was her own breathing, she watched onward carefully and closed her eyes. She could pick up on the faint rhythm of Kasumi's heartbeats as well as her own, seeming to synch. Maybe this was what fear was? Or was Kasumi calm too, Syana didn't know. She didn't feel like running, in fact she was enjoying herself.
"Rat." Suddenly Taylor's voice caused Syana to snap out of her daze and looked towards the direction of the girl. Taylor stood there holding the rat by the tail and the sight of the red bloody hole on the creatures body was enough to make the weak of heart sick. "Nothing to worry about. " The sound of blood dripping on the concrete floor just gave such an eerie sensation that Syana almost missed the two eyes that were staring at them until Taylor spoke up again. "That, however, was not a rat." With that said, Syana lifted her gaze towards the eyes and she instantly took a step forward. She pressed her hand to the ground, letting her hand glow. It wouldn't be easy to summon a bright light with the darkness around, but due to the bracelet she had illuminate Kasumi's wrist earlier; the area beneath her hand let out a faint light which bounced around the walls and lit up the area around the eyes letting them get a good view of what it was.

It seemed like Taylor had a plan and Kasumi had no intention of speaking against it. She did giggle a little at her nickname out of amusement. She'd never been call that before. As Syana took her hand, she let out a gasp as she watched the little ring of light form around her wrist. At first, Kasumi gasped quietly, though when she made eye contact with Syana, she gave back a cheeky smile.
Kasumi flinched at the gunshot, not expecting the sound to come. She grasped Syana's hand, reasoning that Taylor was probably the one who made the shot. As she watched Taylor disappear into the darkness, Kasumi began to make mental notes of Taylor. It was more of a worst case scenario, but Kasumi knew that if the two guilds were to ever fight, she would have to be ready.
While waiting for the Lions Heart member, Kasumi took her time to survey her surroundings. Odd symbols adorned the walls in a language that was long gone now. This was a place that had not been explored before. The three girls were some of the first people to ever explore the area. That alone was enough for her, but she mentally scolded herself to focus. After all, this place could have dangers that they were unaware of.
It was only a rat. Could've been worse. Almost as soon as Kasumi thought about those words, Taylor tensed up. Kasumi's eyed widened as she saw the eyes glaring back at them, taking an instinctive step backwards. She could tell that her body was screaming to run away and try to survive, but she knew she couldn't do that. Taking deep breaths, Kasumi watched as Syana brought light to the area, illuminating the monster before them.
A giant python stood before them, letting out a loud hiss. For some reason, it didn't attack and acted as if it was waiting. A few moments later, another figure entered the room with another giant python. This figure was a young man, probably a bandit, with a green bandana and an eye-patch. He sneered at the girls while the pythons hissed beside him.
"It seems like we're not the only ones who wanted some treasure." He called out, the two snakes eyeing up the mages. "Let's give them a nice, warm welcome." On cue, the two snakes started to slither towards Kasumi, Syana and Taylor, their eyes filled with hunger.
"Make sure you damage the temple as little as possible!" Kasumi yelled before taking a deep breath. Steeling her nerves, Kasumi began to sing, causing the wind beside her to spiral quickly. It took the form a green wheel, whirring menacingly before Kasumi launched it at the python closest to them, trying to slice the creature and impede its progress.

One side of Taylor's mouth raised up in a defiant sneer. She raised her head to meet the serpents in front of her, their forked tongues flicking in and out of their mouths to taste the air. They were unable to keep still, but instead turned their heads from side to side with an effort to get a good look at their enemies. A man appeared, seemingly the one in control of the beasts. He was dressed in ridiculous clothing, and the black-haired mage could not help but huff a little at the bandit's attire, an eyebrow creeping up the top of her face. "Yes, we are guests here. Let's show our host how thrilled we are to see him." she spoke mockingly, shooting a bullet straight to the man's head. A shield of scales blocked the projectile, creating a small dent in one of the snake's tails. It smoked for a bit while the snake coiled, ready to attack. "You got some sort of spell that can mask my body heat?" Taylor asked, shooting the snake's eye before it could attack. It hissed and reared back. "Snakes see heat." Before she could speak another word, the uninjured snake struck towards the gun-wielder with speed and ferocity. Taylor jumped up with lightning reflexes, landing on the snake's head as the bottom of its jaw smashed into the ground. "The snakes are too big to fight in these halls appropriately." she said, sending out two bullets at the other snake, taking out its other eye. "Stay back, and if they try to get you, just run." She pulled her trigger again, only to here the click of an empty chamber. Cussing under her breath, she backflipped off of the snake and unloaded her gun. In almost the same motion, she infused another six bullets and put them in her weapon. She was ready to go. ⦿ Spell Name: Infuse ⦿ Level: D ⦿ Range: Touching ⦿ Description: Infuses an object with dark elemental energy, giving it more power to damage enemies. Syana found herself staring face to face with a snake. Its body twice the size of her own being. Syana cocked her head to the side while marvelling the creature that had appeared in front of her. Just who would let loose such a creature in the temple. Whoever it was, they definitely didn't want to leave the place unguarded, that was for sure. With that said, suddenly a male's voice spoke up. A second snake accompanying the new person.
"It seems like we're not the only ones who wanted some treasure." Syana tilted her head, recalling the mission. Oh, yes. There was treasure they were supposed to retrieve here, how could she forget? She was so caught up in having fun. Looking side to side at the hieroglyphics, Syana took in her surrounding area. With a room like this, there was no way she could get a spell strong enough to block them. She had to think of another way to do it.
"Let's give them a nice, warm welcome." At this time, Syana began to ponder.
"Does anyone have a torch or a light? Mr. Snakeman? Do you have a torch I can use?" Yes, she was asking the enemy, but who knew what would happen?
"Make sure you damage the temple as little as possible!" Kasumi announced and Syana nodded while feeling the wind pick up around her.
"Yes, we are guests here. Let's show our host how thrilled we are to see him." Taylor spoke up and Syana just gazed around for ideas, her mind taking in every single small detail before her eyes dropped to the bracelet that was around Kasumi's wrist. It was the only source of light, gradually growing brighter and then dimming with each gunshot that Taylor. "You got some sort of spell that can mask my body heat?" Syana pondered on the woman's question, taking in her question with inquisition. She didn't exactly have one that masked heat, but one that gave off heat. Kasumi was stood beside her singing with such a beautiful voice that Syana let her mind relax to the point an idea just slipped into her mind.
"Snakes see heat." Syana then understood what she needed to do.
"Ms. Taylor, I need you to keep shooting..." Syana stated softly while watching Taylor light up as began to dodge the other snake.
"The snakes are too big to fight in these halls appropriately." Taylor responded. "Stay back, and if they try to get you, just run." With the snakes eyes now being incapacitated, Syana knew what she had to do. With her hands moving forward, taking in the light from the bracelet and infusing it with her own power, she closed her eyes and listened carefully, her body picking up on the man from across the room and sensing his own magic power. Suddenly a pentagram appeared beneath him and golden chains haul out of either side of the pentagram, enveloping his wrists and attaching himself to it. While holding him there, they begin to burn and glow. If I'm correct, the heat should be able to lure the snakes away and they'll focus on him... The sound of the chains ringing was her relief. The spell had connected.

"A torch? What the hell are you on about?" The bandit yelled. He crossed his arms and watched the battle, confident that his snakes would be able to get the job done.
Once Kasumi heard Taylor's request, she stopped singing, the wind wheel dissipating in the air as soon as she stopped her mystical lyrics. She racked her brains quickly, knowing that the wind could act as a way to cool the body. Remembering one of the songs, she changed her melodies and began singing again, this song being calmer and slower than the previous one she was singing.
On cue, gentle winds started to blow around Taylor, brushing over her and attempting to act as a way to cool her body. In a way, Kasumi was trying to improvise, guiding the wind down the right path and using her song to instruct it what to do.
While this was happening, the bandit was so focused on the battle that he did not react to the pentagram that formed underneath him. By the time he realized what was happening, he got ensnared by the chains. Loudly swearing, he tried to break out of them, but that generated more heat, causing his hands to burn and him to screech in pain.
The increase in temperature of the bandit disorientated the blind snake, remaining coiled as it tried to make sense of the different heat signatures. On the other hand, the other snake lifted itself off the floor, hissing loudly and glaring at the mages. It's eyes focused on the glowing band on Kasumi's wrist. Coiling backwards for a moment, the snake then launched itself quickly at the mage, fangs bared.

Taylor remained cool and collected in the heat of battle. Maybe it was the joy she felt from getting an edge on her enemies. Maybe it was Syana's calming presence. Or maybe, just maybe, it was actually Kasumi's gentle winds. Either way, Taylor was thoroughly enjoying herself, jumping up and around both of the snakes. They ducked and weaved for her, frustrated that they could not catch the little acrobatic monkey. Before their tiny inferior brains could register it, they were tied together in a scale-and-flesh bow. Taylor landed in front of them, examining her masterpiece. "Absolutely appalling." she commented with disgust, turning back to look at her companions. She was confident that the danger was over. But where she expected relief, the look on Kasumi's face said otherwise.
While she was facing away from them, the snakes had untied themselves and one of them was pointed straight at her teammate. Taylor felt a rush of panic, and instinctively started running towards the wind mage. When she was directly underneath the snake, she jumped up and held onto its head, and then used its own velocity to smash it into the ground. She got up with a smug look on her face. "RKO." she whispered, too low for anyone to hear. "... outta nowhere!" she laughed to herself.
Taylor caught movement out of the corner of her eye. The other snake was attempting to move, but was failing miserably. Without so much as a second glance, Taylor shot the creature, and the animal fell to the ground, finally incapacitated. The danger was gone. The black-haired mage walked up to the bandit. She inspected the magic chains, nodding thoughtfully at their craftsmanship. "I think we coped." she said to the side, and then looked back up at the bandit. She cocked her gun to his temple, smiling a devilish smile and leaning close to his face.
"So, mind showing us where all the treasure is?" she slid the gun down his body, until it rested over his crotch. "Or do we have to... give our host a little housewarming present?"

It seemed like the ordeal was beginning to look like they had the upper hand. With Syana's chains attached to the man's wrists, holding him pinned to the ground and her eyes focused on the battle ahead, Syana could almost taste the victory - that was until one of her own spells had caused the snake to turn around on itself, its eyes on the bracelet. With the other snake now nothing more than a lifeless mass of muscle and blood, Syana found herself getting read to send an arrow towards the snake, but a sharp pain shot through her body as she found herself losing concentration on the chains just for a brief second. With the man struggling, the chains were burning his wrists and it seemed this snake took no heed to the heat coming from his wrists, instead it was going in for the kill on Kasumi.
As Syana went to summon her staff so she could whack it across the face like a bat with a ball, out of nowhere came the Taylor herself, slamming it down to the ground and then shooting it dead.
With the commotion now over, Syana softly nudged Kasumi in order to pull her from her concentration, relieved that the girl wasn't hurt in any way. Relieved that all three of them got away freely. With the man being the only survivor left, Taylor made her way over to him and pointed her gun towards his temple.
Perhaps that wasn't the best idea. With Syana making her way over towards Taylor, she caught earshot of the girls words.
"So, mind showing us where all the treasure is?" The treasure? Was Taylor only in it for the treasure? Syana watched her expectantly, her green eyes blazing with curiosity, catching sight of the gun moving down towards the man's -- WHAT ON EARTH!? "Or do we have to... give our host a little housewarming present?" Now was definitely the time to intervene. With the chains still holding onto the man, she rested her hand to the girls shoulder and leaned close and with her usual smile, she knelt down; pressing her hand to the gun and pushing it away.
"Miss Taylor I don't think that's necessary..." With that said, her gaze focused on the man.
"Please don't do such reckless stuff. You've got yourself in a bad situation because of it." Gesturing towards the gun, she looked the man in the eye. "Unless you'd rather the safe way and given in to the police, I'd recommend you stop this" Concern was in her voice, her green eyes looking him in the eyes and her hand reaching out to touch his cheek, her fingers tracing the outline of it. With that done, she stood up and dusted off her clothing.
"We should probably finish off what we came here to do..." Realising the words she said, a pang of sadness took over her. That meant they would part ways for now, but that was fine. Syana knew they'd meet again once the mission was done. It may be other missions or just bumping into each other. Syana looked towards Kasumi, a smile forming on her lips as she gestured the smaller girl over.

Kasumi continued to sing, even as the snake launched towards her. She had trained herself not to break out of her singing trance unless willingly or by physical force. Perhaps she was foolish of trusting her allies to help her out, though Taylor swiftly pushed away Kasumi's qualms when she smashed the snake onto the floor, knocking it out for good.
"You didn't need to do that." Kasumi sheepishly chided Syana, as the bump caused her spell to break instantaneously. She took a moment to regain her balance before walking towards the other two confronting the bandit.
The man could only watch in horror as his pets died before him. That wasn't the worst of his problems though when he saw Taylor pointing a gun at his head.
"T-The treasure is down the hall! The man shouted desperately, fear in his eyes as he saw where Taylor moved her gun. It was the arrival of another girl, who cautioned the girl with the gun, that saved him from a rather gruesome end.
"Y-you've got it!" The man sputtered, nodding his head rapidly in agreement with what Syana said. As soon as the binds were unchained, he immediately bolted towards the exit, leaving behind the three girls in the temple.
"Not gonna lie, that guy was pretty pathetic." Kasumi remarked as she watch the figure of the man disappear. She would be lying if she said she wasn't slightly disturbed by Taylor's actions towards the bandit. The mental image of Taylor blasting off the guy's crotch was not something she enjoyed envisioning, and she was glad Syana was there to stop it from happening.
"We did a good job team!" Kasumi beamed at Syana as she went over towards her. "Come on! Let's see what treasures are in here!" Kasumi said as she started to march in the direction indicated by the man.

Taylor lowered her gun at Syana's suggestion. "Kidding... kidding..." the dark mage said, giving the girl a dismissive wave of her hand. She pulled the gun back and spun it around her finger before placing it back in its holster. "This guy tried to kill us. Joking with him is the least painful thing I could do." She gritted her teeth, "All the police would do is lock em' up. Back in Adonis we--" She stopped. "Nevermind, let's just get the treasure and get out. She stormed off ahead of the others.
After they had secured the valuables, Taylor seemed to have calmed down a lot. Syana's soothing presence and Kasumi's cuteness probably helped with that. "Hurmph." she said as they neared the entrance to the temple once again. "You guys are decent, I guess." She pursed her lips and crossed her arms over her chest, shielding her face against the light of the rising sun. "I wouldn't be bad to see each other again." A small smile rose to her face as the three of them went their separate ways.
