Watching a little idly as Syana caught a stray feather, Maddox soon turned his attention to Kasumi as she exclaimed something that made his eyebrows raise in surprise. "You... talked to my sister... Recently?" He echoed, dumbly. While part of him had suspected her return, he couldn't help but feel stunned to hear it. In an instant all of the expression faded from his face, in a manner that would possibly remind Kasumi of Riley herself, and he bowed his head respectfully. "Thank you, Miss Ito. I will be sure to look for my sister as soon as I can."
He wasn't sure when that was going to be, though, since Syana was giving her clothes to the naked weirdo and it seemed like a god awful idea to leave her on her own around such a shady character.
It seemed not much had really changed in that respect, despite three years passing.
Surprisingly, the guy also seemed to have encountered his sister, apparently in the hotel with the collapsed walls. Idly he found himself wondering how many mages had enough power to cause such devastation, but he disregarded the thought to offer Aether a nod of acknowledgement.
He opened his mouth to say something more but a very short man appeared, hollering at the lot of them and throwing himself at Aether like he expected his small body to actually be able to do some damage. "Right. Well." He shook his head before turning to the two females. He offered an arm first to Syana, the object of his affection, and second to Kasumi, who had provided him a rather useful piece of information and seemed to be a friend of his sister. "Shall we take our leave, ladies? I imagine more trouble will be heading this way in no time at all."

 Syana stood there with a proud smile on her face as she placed her cloak over the man's body in order to keep him warm and prevent him from getting sick as well as from embarrassing himself any further despite the stares of disagreement around her. As she placed down her to staff next her like a walking stick and walked back the way she came, a movement caught her eye and she found her eyes slowly turn towards Maddox and Kasumi who seemed to be discussing about Riley, another person Syana hadn't seen for a long time. With rumours of her beloved guild being in ruins, Syana felt a twinge of guilt as she made her way towards Maddox and stood by his side once more.
Suddenly the atmosphere seemed to intensify and a loud, screaming sound emitted from nearby. Syana's gaze honed on the minuscule man who trudged his way out in such a manner with a reddened face and a disgruntled expression; his mouth bellowing the words. Syana watched for several seconds longer as he dove towards Aether. It seemed Aether turned to face him head on and get ready for the blow. Her green eyes widened and suddenly the sound of Maddox's voice pulled her to her senses."Shall we take our leave, ladies? I imagine more trouble will be heading this way in no time at all." Looking towards Maddox and his distended arm, she leaned her hand out towards it for a few seconds - fingers held out before she clenched her hand in return and swung her arm towards the running man.
Someone she knew was about to get attacked and something about the man's system didn't seem right. Syana's emerald eyes narrowed and as she flicked her fingers in the direction of the man; a pentagram formed beneath him and chains flung up either side while honing in on his arms. Glowing a bright colour in the light, Syana's eyes lifted to him and she found herself standing there with her hand held out and eyes focused on the chains as began to coil around his arms and link before pulling his arms down either side of him.

For a moment, Kasumi recognized that Maddox was almost like a male version of Riley, his face showing surprise only for a second before completely obscuring his emotions. She couldn't help but roll her eyes, recognizing that this indeed was Riley's brother.
"It's a pleasure." Kasumi responded, grinning at Maddox and bowing back in response. Looking over to Syana, Kasumi could only sigh as she watched her help out the creepy guy. She was hoping she wouldn't have to get too involved.
"Onibas really is a small town." Kasumi muttered to herself quietly, hearing that the naked guy had been at the hotel with her. Judging from the distance and power, Kasumi wouldn't have been surprised if it was Riley who hit the guy here. If it was, he probably had it coming. Maybe he was a pervert or something.
"Yeah, I'll take you up on that offer." Kasumi answered, noticing the chaos unfolding before her. Some dwarf guy started running towards the pervert and threw himself at him. It was only moments later that Kasumi saw Syana use her magic against the man.
"Syana, we can't make a scene here!" Kasumi chastised, trying to pull her away from all the action. "We'll just get ourselves in trouble and honestly, that's the last thing we need at the moment. Let's just go with Maddox"
Kasumi did her best to take Syana with her and eventually, she set off with Maddox and Syana, relieved that she managed to get out of that cluster of craziness. She would have to ask Syana why she used her magic. After all, the man seemed to be relatively harmless. Then again, from the way he was talking, it was almost like he was on his death bed. Kasumi didn't pay too much head to it for the moment. She was just happy they managed to get out.

The others had just run off from panic. From the looks of it, something is bad about to happen. Right now, I am not on the condition to tackle this situation, or dressed for that matter. With Syana spell, she saved me from something that feels dangerous. So, I begin to move out. Trying to solve this problem at night is just a death trap.
