In the beginning, it felt like the apocalypse. Fighting, famine, disease and death spread throughout the city over night. Everyone just robbed, everyone just fight, everyone starved, and everyone was just dying. There was no order, and the future looked bleak. I can still remember all the chaos that was spreading throughout the city. It was like straight out of a horror movie, and I wasn't sure how to handle everything.
I just stand on top of a building and was willing to dive into the chaos in an attempt to stop it. However, thanks to Riley I was saved from that poor choice, and I could support her with my magic. While I was there and supporting her, Riley did all the real work in stopping the raiding. From there, we built shelters and ran them together in helping anyone and everyone who was in need, for an entire month, that all we did.
Doing whatever we can bring hope to the city and restore it. It was during this time, what hate and mistrust began to fade, not only to the people, but towards Riley. Now, it seems like I'm not the only person who treats her like a human being and care about her. To some in the city, she's like the idol and to everyone, she's their hero. I won't take credit in any of it and satisfied that it not like how it was when I first met her.
I'm standing in front of the mayor's office with a large crowd of people. Someone had heard that I was going to restore the city to former state before the outbreak and made it a big deal. I wanted too to do in the shadows and slip out before anyone could take notice. I've preferred if Riley just took all credit for this as it just wasted on me. I feel tired and drained from working constantly in the shadows. I have dark heavy black circles under my eyes. Before I restore everything, I'm waiting for the guest of honor to show up, the Saint wizard Riley.

For the first time in what seemed like a century Onibas was quiet. The rioting, the looting, the chaos, even the shouting had all died down in the aftermath of the disease. The city was in a strange state that lingered somewhere between mourning the dead and rejoicing those that still lived. The buildings of the city would soon be restored to their former glory, but the people had a great deal of healing ahead of them. A good many loved ones to bury and arrangements to be made for those that had survived. Orphans, the elderly, the sick, the poor. Even with the buildings restored, many people would now find their life in chaos because of what happened. It would be some time before Onibas could return to its former glory, and Riley swore that she would help to bring that time to the city, no matter how much blood, sweat and swears it took.
However, now was not the time for such thoughts. The city should revel in its survival and worry about such things another day. Despite what had been lost, much had been saved, and that was definitely worth celebrating even after everything that had happened.
Walking down the center of the street, Atlas perched on her shoulder with his chest puffed out as though he were the main event, Riley walked as tall as she always did, kept her head as high as she had through the chaos of the disease, despite what it and the people of Onibas threw at it. On the outside she looked largely unphased by it all, but her step was lighter, her eyes a little more lively. She was happy that people were more accepting of her now, but mostly she was just relieved that the nightmare was over and the people could try to piece their lives back together.
Finding her thoughts drifting away again, Riley shook her head softly to bring herself back down to earth. At this point she could see Aether just a little ways ahead of her, surrounded by a crowd of people that no doubt knew what he was doing there.
"Sorry to keep you waiting." She called as she neared, offering him a soft smile and bow of her head. Glancing to the people around them, she soon returned her gaze to Aether, looking curious and somewhat concerned. "Are you sure you want to do it all in one go, though? No one will blame you for doing a section of the city every few days."
Shifting on her shoulder, Atlas clicked his beak in annoyance as he regarded the crowd warily.

As Riley shows up, everyone is fired up. As requested from earlier, someone comes over and places a wheel chair behind me. For me using a spell this large, I'm going to need to it. As Riley approaches me with her owl which I've actually only seen a couple of times for one reason or another. Riley suggests that I should restore sections instead. I would do that, but the people of Onibas have suffered long enough. I know everyone would like to return to their homes sooner than later. “At this point, everyone would like to return sooner than later. After this spell, I'll be knocked out for a while, so take care of me while I sleep.”
I rub my eyes my tired eyes as I mentally prepare myself. Normally, I crack a small lame joke to Riley, but I am much too tired to do that right now. I move myself away from everyone to gain additional space. I let out a small stress yawn while I cover my mouth with one hand. If I am lucky, perhaps some of my feelings for Riley will reach her for doing this, but I doubt it. We've been working together for a whole month, and I doubt she feels any different towards me. However, I don't have any intention in giving that up.
I begin channeling my magic that's inside me and begin pouring outside my body as it spreads across the city. This is a long progress due to sheer size, so I'm not sure how long it's going to take to spread my magic this far for Restore. Beneath the entire city, is an image of a giant clock that ticking forward. It begins to tick backwards very slowly, after a few minutes, the clock ticks faster and faster until finally, every non living and none sentient being begins to move backwards. It's like rewinding a tape of an old vhs and you watch everything move backwards.
My body begins to age in result of this large-scale spell. My hair changes to the color grey and I grow a large gray beard that grows well below the chest. My body begins to shrink, and I have wrinkles all over my body. The skin of my entire body, that once tight and tone in muscle is not loose and saggy. I feel myself growing weaker and tired, but I keep the spell active until finally the city is 100% restore. I let out a deep sigh and fall backwards into the wheel chair.
It's frightening how new the city look, even if you look at the ghettos that used to be in bad shape before the outbreak looks beautiful. There're cheers coming from the people mixed with real tears of joy. I might've of aged myself to about 90's years old and look completely different compare to the young and vigorous me a few moments ago. I”have never cast a spell this large and hold it for this long before. My eyes begin hurting, and I feel pain throughout my body.
I let out grunt in pain noise and lean over. “The things we do for love.” I mutter to myself and hope no one hears it. The pain intensifies as I feel myself blacking out. I like to think it's from old age, but it may be more than that. My body is not used to using that large scale of a spell or using up all my magic at once like that. I feel nauseate and dizzy. I feel my eyes growing are growing heavy and feel peaceful. I just let myself fall asleep as I close my eyes and visit sandman land.

Giving a slow nod to Aether's decision to restore the entire city at the same time, Riley slowly crossed her arms over her chest. "I'll be gentle." She assured, recalling one of his lame jokes from what felt like an eternity ago. In contrast, he didn't offer anything besides a yawn, a testament to how tired her already was.
Would he really be alright, restoring the entire city in one go? Even if she protected him from external forces, what if he got sick? What if fixing the entire city made him so old that he just flat out died where he was standing?
Exhaling, deciding the trust in his judgement, Riley instead turned her eyes to the city - to the magic that was unfolding before her very eyes. It never failed to impress her, watching ruins return to glory, and while she enjoyed the sight with a peaceful expression the people around them began to cheer, jumping all around and dancing like fools as the saw the first rays of hope for what was likely the first time in over a month.
Atlas, annoyed with the loud noises, flew off of her shoulder and towards the rooftops with a displeased hoot.
A feeling of relief washed over her as the last of the city game together, but it quickly faded as she spied movement from the corner of her eye as Aether fell back into the wheelchair. Hurrying to stand beside him and assure herself that he was alive, she exhaled as she realized he was still moving, though he appeared to be tired and in a great deal of pain.
Being in a screaming crowd probably wasn't really going to help his situation any, so she moved behind him, gripping the handles of the wheelchair and guiding him through the celebrating people, who stepped aside as they neared, perhaps with a subtle nudge from her own magic.
"I'll take care of things from here." She promised.

It had been quite an eventful time for South Fiore. The lands were left in shambles, ruins of their former existence. It must've been painful to live through this, to go back to how things were. I wonder, will these people remember just how lucky they were, he asked himself as he looked out from the top of what once was a building, though the purpose it served was long lost. Deion had heard that the town of Onibas would be restored, he had every intention of witnessing the act despite the lack of information he had heard about it. Though, he couldn't help but feel like the entire situation was still on the horizon after all. Will it be enough? Show me your power, he thought with a smile.
The few things Deion did know about this event, with the most important one being that Aether would be reverting the town back to normal. He had witnessed first-hand his magic, and wanted to gather an understand of how it would scale up on a city when he learned about it. Though, from where Deion was he couldn't make out anything very well without a pair of glasses on hand. It's not like I need to see him cast it, watching it effects are precisely what I'm after. Once its done I can take my leave and finish things in the South, he thought, thinking about how he said he'd travel North to take Artie to Fairy Tail.
That's when it started. Time began to travel back on the land and object in it. It would've been a very wonderful experience of course, make no mistake. But Deion had more interest in attempting to study the magic and its effects. Little did he even realize he was getting a first-class view, as his body grew and changed, the white streaks in his hair fading as his hair grew longer. Golden undertones slowly manifested and some facial hair appeared as he bulked up. This isn't exactly exciting, not even something anyone could mimic easily. It's like the will of a god, he thought, scratching his chin. "Hmm....?", he muttered as he looked at his arms. He didn't seem very shocked, instead curious as he looked at his body. "Interesting.", he said as he jumped down from the building, watching it reconstruct.
His clothes weren't exactly the right size anymore. Deion was quite fortunate that there was a store where he could buy something, going inside and grabbing a new attire that suited him and leaving the proper amount at the check-out with a note. He didn't leave any names or anything. Didn't feel like it. This is certainly an interesting side-effect for reversing the time on the town. I wonder why it would've aged me, he thought as he approached the crowd where aether would be. He had intended to make an inquiry about such, but when he got there he changed his mind. What was once Aether was in a wheelchair He stayed in the crowd, watching. So that's the drawback to expending so much magic. I see you've taken the worse brunt, I look forward to your recovery Aether, he thought as he watched Riley guide the wheelchair from behind.
He was disinterested in approaching either of them. The crowd was loud, a thunderous applause. Deion merely watched with a faint smile on his face. Perhaps time will tell us all how intertwined our destinies are. Though I can't say I believe in something we can't exert control over, he thought as he widened his smile.

I'm not sure where I am exact, but I think home? Apparently, I'm in the library, and I have a cup of coffee on top of my reading desk. I have tons of books around me, and I can't read anything. The words look blurry to me on the cover. When I try to open and read anything, the pages are completely blank. I get up from my chair and look around the library. I grab random books on the shelves and try to read them, but it's the same as the books on the desk, I can't read anything. I walk out of my library and go into the main hall, but I don't see anyone around. I hear chatter in the distance, but I can't make out what they are saying. I walk toward where I hear the voices and come into the main lobby and see a large crowd of people. Most of the faces are blurry, but some are clear as day. I can clearly see Sakurai face, and she's talking to what looks like Shinzu? He's the second oldest sibling of mine. I see Riley talking to my younger sister, Eve the baby among of the siblings and former master of GW. However, what I see next frightens me to my core. I see me but dress like a clown. The clown walks over to me and pushes me back to the hall. “Sorry, you're not invited.” I wake up, and I'm unaware of where I am. I look down at my body and see my skin is still saggy. I have no idea, how long I've been out and wonder where I am. “Where am I?” My voice sounds weird and harsh. My mouth is a bit dry and hungry. I look around to find that I am in a white plain room that has no description. I don't see a mirror nearby so I have no idea if I am the same age or a bit younger. “Nuuuurse,” I yell out in hope to catch someone's attention.

Flipping through the pages of a book, Riley was reclined in her seat, ankles crossed and head resting on the back of her chair as she held the book above her, green eyes scanning the pages somewhat listlessly, as though she had already read the contents several times and they had come to bore her. Exhaling, she lowered the book, resting it over her face and deciding to try to take a nap. Crossing her arms over her chest, she had successfully nodded off when she swore she heard someone calling out.
Soon, the sounds of footsteps drew her out of her sleep and she sat up more so, causing the book to fall into her lap. Watching a nurse enter Aether's room, she furrowed her brow before pushing herself to feet and heading after the woman to investigate.
When she entered the room, she heaved a sigh of relief. "You're awake." She needlessly exclaimed, drifting into the room but staying back from the bed to keep out of the nurse's way as she did whatever she needed to do. "How are you feeling?" She asked somewhat dubiously, since he still wasn't looking much like his old self.

A woman dress in all white comes into the room and checks up on me. I wasn't expecting a real nurse, but I guess this is OK. She checks my heart rate, and my blood pressure. Riley comes in while letting a sigh of relief as she notices I am awake. Riley keeps her distance, so she stays out-of-the-way as the nurse works. Of course, I am being cooperative with the nurse as she checks up on me. She tells me she be back later as she leaves the room.
Riley asked me how do I feel and for the life of me, I can't think of anything funny. I give myself a quick check up and notice I am no longer in pain anywhere and see everything normal as any large drawback to a spell. “Like a crusty old man in his 90s." I like to get up from this bed and pace around, but I'm afraid I might fall and break a hip. “How is the city?” I hope everything is doing fine and there is no problem with the restore of the city.
As I lay in the bed and realize this is the first time in a long time that I have time to sit around and do nothing. “First time in a while that we have time to ourselves. So, tell me about yourself?” I know she has a rough life, but I'm sure not everything has been all that bad. I did meet a few of her friends and even her brother. Though, they all got out of dodge when the out break began. However, they looked close to Riley, at least to me.

"Well, you don't look a day older than 80." Riley lightly assured, making her way towards the window and lingering there, she sat on the sill. Suddenly aware that she was still holding the book in her hand, she tossed it onto a nearby chair. As he asked his question, her expression clouded, becoming a complicated mess that made it altogether unreadable.
"The city... is much better than it was. It's in one piece, at least. Still a bit chaotic, but I expect it to be that way for a time to come." Exhaling, she crossed her ankles once more, watching the old man for a few long moments before diverting her gaze as she wondered what else she should tell him about the city.
When he suddenly asked her about herself, she was at a temporary loss for words. She was pretty sure she had told him some things about herself already, so she wasn't sure what else she could really tell him. Still, they had been through a lot together despite their rocky start, it wouldn't hurt to try to find something to tell him, even if it seemed like trivial nonsense. "My favorite animals are owls." She announced without hesitation.
Okay, that one was probably a bit too obvious, she reasoned. Still, what else was there to tell?
Making her way to a chair nearby his bed, she slid into it, crossing one leg over the other as she thought. Eventually, something random came to mind and she decided to tell him what it was. "Well, you know I have an older brother, he's kind of... rough around the edges but he's my only blood relative... When we were younger he used to sneak me sweets because I wasn't allowed to have them..." Trailing off, she shrugged and gave a desperate sigh.
"I'm not very good at talking about myself... I mean if you want to know something in particular just ask, I guess?"

Apparently, I don't look a day over eighty. I let out a small giggle at her comment. “Thanks, I'm feeling younger already.” To think, when I first met her, she didn't crack wise cracks. To be fair, when I made those cracks, we were not in the most favorable situation so it is more understandable. Regardless, I'm happy to see her in good spirit and more comfortable around me.
Riley answers my question and says the city is better than it was before, but there's still disorder. As she mentions it will be a while before everything is back like it was, I can only agree to her. Just restoring the city to it original state will not make everything better, but it's a step forward. “Excellent, glad that I can help,” I said while smiling at Riley.
When I asked Riley to talk about herself, I was only given silence for a bit. Riley seems confuse and have no idea what to say at first. After thinking for a moment, she mentions her love for owls. Well, that was obvious to me, and she realizes that herself after bringing it up. “I've notice, but how long you and Atlas been together?”
Riley moves over to a chair nearby the bed and sits with one leg cross over the other leg. Riley finally comes up with something, telling me about her brother and how rough, but sweet. Riley tells me a fond memory of the two. From what I can tell, she cares deeply about her brother, and the two must have only each other for the longest time. “Was he a womanizer even then? I didn't talk to him much in my past life, but I remember he was chasing after girls a lot.”
Riley gives out a loud sigh and gives up in thinking what to say about herself. I guess she figures that it's best I ask something more directly. That's fairer, some people just don't know how to talk about themselves. “Hm, tell me about your old guild? I've met a few former members of yours before the outbreak, and they seem to care a great deal about you.” I feel myself growing a bit tired, damn this old age. I just need a few days, and I'll be back to normal. I lay back in the bed and fighting off sleep. “How did you get that fine ass of yours?”

Crossing her arms over her chest and reclining in her chair, Riley watched Aether intently as she contemplated his question. "Mmn, I had him since I was a preteen, I do believe." She answered, chuckling quietly to herself as she mauled over his second question. "Well, to be perfectly honest, growing up he was never that interested in girls so I kinda assumed... That maybe he preferred men." Ruffling her own hair somewhat nervously, she shrugged. "But he was away a lot and I had to stay at the guild, so I guess I just wasn't aware of his.. Activities..."
As he revealed that he met some members of her guild that had apparently harbored some pleasant feelings for her, she had to admit that she was surprised, all things considered.
"Mn, well, Griffin Wing was my family. It was loud sometimes, and some of the members somehow always managed to find trouble, but everyone looked after each other and -" She cut herself off as he asked his final question while sinking back into the bed as though he was drifting off.
Her first instinct was to put him through another wall, but she quickly reminded herself that this was a senile old man she was dealing with and such a thing would probably kill him this time.
"That sounds even creepier when you're an old man..." She murmured, huffing.

So, she had that bird since she's been a preteen? That's a long time for a bird as they usually live 10-15yrs old. “Right now, I think me and Atlas have a lot in common. We can talk about simple times,” I joked. I want to pet him, but older birds are often stubborn and set in their ways. So, I'll most likely just get bitten for even trying, and I like to avoid that.
Apparently, Maddox wasn't always the way he is and Riley thought he liked me. He was away from the guild a lot, and she was stuck, so she must have been aware. I chuckle out laughing over that, especially seeing him now. Maybe out of respect for his sister, he always kept it to himself. “Well, maybe out of respect for you so he kept it hidden? He's also a lot stronger compare to when we were in the same guild.” Ah, fruit basket. I didn't mean to bring that up, but oh well. If she asks, I'll answer honestly at this point.
From my last question, Riley looked mighty pissed, and I'm glad she wouldn't hit a 90-year-old man. I'm getting exceptionally bold with my jokes toward Riley. Though, I'm sure that everyone in the world would agree. I bet even Shiva would give up his evil ways once he sees that ass. I'm pretty sure Riley is not aware just yet how overpower her ass is. “I'm sorry, forgive me?” However, before I can get any sort of answer, I drift to sleep. My hope is that the next time that I wake up, I'll be me again.

Arching a brow at Aether's offhand comment, Riley watched him carefully, her green eyes half lidded as she studied his wrinkled face. "Well, I know it's not the guild we were raised in, so I suppose that leaves Shark Fang and Fairy Tail." And with that other personality of his that had come to surface, she couldn't really make a decision which one she suspected he had been a part of.
Then again, her own brother had murdered assassinated people for Jewels for as long as she could remember. It was only in recent years that he had started to change, to become more human - hell, it wasn't like her own hands were without blood, even if she didn't act maliciously. She definitely didn't have a right to judge, even before factoring in all of the lives ruined by her disappearance.
"No." Riley deadpanned, shrugging somewhat listlessly. "Perhaps my... appearance... is one of my few redeeming qualities but you don't have to keep bringing it up..." Sighing, she rose from her chair, accidentally jarring the chair beside her and sending the book that she hard earlier placed there flying across the floor.
Exhaling in aggravation, she stalked across the room, bending down to quickly sweep the book off of the floor, she quickly popped up once more, shooting Aether a somewhat dangerous look as she did so.

Riley is pretty sharp, but I assume she doesn't know that Shark Fang had changed its name to Phantom Cloak. Apparently, a lot of people think the two are different. “It's Shark Fang, but now it's called Phantom Cloak.” I let out a burden sigh as I think about being a part of that guild. In fact, I need to make a return there and go through the leaving process or that will only bring trouble to the people around me. “Hopefully, Maddox didn't just leave without saying anything to anyone. That's troubling for himself and those around him.”As I fall asleep, I miss out seeing Riley bending over. I want to speak to her more and learn more about her. I want to keep on teasing her and let her know she has many redeeming qualities. Like she has a pretty smile, she's polite, she very considerate to others, and many other things! I just hope when I wake up I will remember that and have the courage to tell her myself. I drift in the darkness and in the land of sand. Meanwhile, while I didn't get to watch Riley to bend over for that moment. A boy in his early teens, disable to his wheel chair, had watched Riley bend over to collect the book. He gains a nose bleed and suddenly gain feeling his legs. For the first time in his life, he steps out of his chair and able to stand. “I-I can stand!” The nurse who was coming in to check up on me also saw Riley bent over for a moment. The young nurse who was 100% straight gains a nose bleed over another woman behind. “I think I like girls now,” said the nurse. In the distance, apparently doctors and other nurses were watching on camera. All of them in perfect sync is heard even to my room going “DAYYYYYUUUUUUUUMMMMM”. It's said that this was the beginning of a new era towards peace. Throughout the next couple of days, I've been mainly sleeping. My body needs rest to restore all the magic I used up and return to normal age. Until finally, after a few days, I'm back to normal. Despite lack of mirrors, I can tell that I've returned to normal. I've got energy and no wrinkles anywhere on my body. I can move around without any sort of ache besides bed sores from sleeping so long. Apparently, someone from home had sent me fresh clothes. I walk into the rest room and change into new clothes and come out asking any one around how I look. ooc:

As Aether stirred, so did the barn owl that had been perched on the headboard of his bed. Blinking himself awake and giving a soft sound of annoyance, Atlas watched through narrowed eyes as the human rose and moved into the bathroom. With a mighty flap of his wings, the bird hopped out a nearby window, disappearing into the evening sky.
By the time that Atlas found his master and the two had managed to make it back to the hospital about a half an hour had passed and neither Riley nor the bird knew where Aether was since he wasn't in his room at present.
Well, more precisely the bird could probably find him but he didn't have any interest in doing that without prompting from his master.
"Atlas, please find Aether for me." Riley requested, watching the bird puff out his chest feathers in protest. Sighing, she crossed her arms over her chest, deciding to negotiate. "I'll give you a treat later." The promise had scarcely left her lips when the owl launched off of her shoulder and flew down the hall with renewed vigor. Sprinting after him, the dark haired young woman rounded a corner and was startled to find that he had perched on the head of a stranger, hooting to alert her that he was done with his search.
"Atlas!" She scolded, watching the bird stare at her in what looked to be annoyance. "Ah! I'm sorry, sir. He's a smart owl but he... Um, has a bit of a rebel streak in him..." Getting closer to them, she held out an arm. "Get off that poor man's head, you silly bird." She gently scolded.
