During all the chaos of the fight, Lyra was able to struggle her way out of the muzzle. The rope was still around her neck, it still strangled her, but she could talk. That's all she needed to do. Because staring up at the black haired man fighting, she knew that it wasn't her daddy. It wasn't Aether. She just needed enough air to talk. She could do that. She didn't need enough air to live. All she needed to do was talk. And she could get her daddy back.
She started to move, walking forwards with sharp pain shooting through her right shoulder. Colliding with the wall must have sprained or dislocated it. It didn't matter. She just had to get to him. Limping along, she reached him when he was beating the intruder senselessly with the fireplace rod. Summoning the loudest, most in control voice she could, even though her legs were trembling, she shouted out a command. "Leave now!" Her leg was really hurting now. Pulling her leg up to avoid straining it, she cleared her throat. "Whoever you are, leave now!" She took another breath, it was ragged and raspy. "You're..." She took another breath. "You're not Aether. Give Aether back!" She took another breath. The rope was digging in too tight. Her neck felt wet. Was she bleeding?
She didn't care, she just had to get through to whoever stood in front of her. "You taught them their lesson. They won't come back here." Maybe he was only here to do the job of protecting the house. A bit extreme, but still his job. "You did your job. Now give Aether back." Her vision was starting to grow tunneled. Black spots danced in her vision. She couldn't stay conscious for long. "Leave! Give...Aether back...now!"

Before I strike again, I can hear that stupid cat talking Cat of Aether speaking. It actually has the nerve to tell me what to do?! “Me leave?!” I look down at the wannabe robber and suddenly I have shackles around me. Tch, I'm not allowed to kill anyone and that stupid cat is waking him up. I want death, I want brutality, and I want destruction! I look around to see my destruction and semi-pleased with my work.
However, the stupid cat keeps running her annoying mouth. “Oh you know who I am, I am the real Aether. Do you really think I give a damn if someone dies or even...Care about you?” I look at Lyra body and it looks that she's beginning to bleed. I'm not sure if she's bleeding from the ropes or being thrown earlier. Personally, I don't care all that much, but the herbivore does. She's actually bringing him back, how annoying.
I walk towards Lyra with a brilliant idea, maybe if I kill the stupid cat then he will stay sleeping over the guilt? Yeah, that sounds like the right thing to do, then I can go around killing everyone, like the good old days. I lift up the poker and prepare to strike at Lyra, if I am quick about it, I can end it with one strike! The shackles on my body begin to tighten up and I fall onto my knees. Shit, I'm being pulled back, DAMN IT!
I raise my hand up and pet Lyra on the head to calm her down. I smile at Lyra to help assure her that everything is OK now. “It's OK Lyra, I'll call the cops and you just get some rest.” I'm feeling tired myself, but I need to stay strong. Thankfully, I'm getting stronger in handling the clown. Sooner or later, I won't even need him anymore, but will only need my family.

Lyra didn't respond. She had run out of strength and air. The black spots in her vision were growing larger, the rest of her vision blurry. She just lets him talk. He's not Aether. Not the Aether she cares about. Looking up at him, her red eyes wide with pain, she watches him advance with the metal rod. There's no change in his stance or eyes telling her that the real Aether is coming back. There's nothing. Lyra closes her eyes and waits for death to come.
When a soothing hand touches her head, her eyes snap open in surprise. It's him! It's really him! She was helpful after all! Her tails wave in joy as she's reunited with her owner, but it's a bittersweet moment. Aether is blurry. She still can't breathe. Reaching up, she weakly paws at the rope around her neck, her soft neck fur being matted and messy with blood. She opens her mouth to speak, but nothing comes out.
Finding no strength left to stand, Lyra collapses onto her side, no signs of breathing. She's struggling now, struggling to get air into her lungs. How much blood has she lost? Her eyes dart to Aether one more time before they start to close. It takes too much energy to keep them open. Maybe if she just slept the pain away....

Lyra tail begins to wag as I pet her, but she's passing out and her fur is becoming more messing from the blood. Lyra tries to speak, but nothing comes out of her mouth. I begin to panic in response and begin to use my magic over the ropes to cause them to decay to the point they become dust and no longer restraining Lyra. From there, I begin to use even more of my magic onto her body to reverse the time from a few moments ago before she even got hurt.
In result of restoring her body time, my body begins to age rapidly. Seconds become days and minutes become years to me. By the time I finish reversing time on Lyra, my body has aged up to 20yrs, putting me in my 40's. I'm still bleeding from being hit earlier and I feel tired to the point that I want to sleep. Using magic on people takes a lot out of me and causes me to age rapidly. So it's not something that I like to do or do for anybody for that matter.
Lyra will be fine now, but I still have another matter to take care before I rest. I call the police about the robbers and let them know that I've taken care of them, but they need medical assistant. I'm practically falling asleep, but I know that I can. The would be robbers could wake up and try to get away then it be on me for letting them go. Like wise, I can't let my house stay in this shape, so I begin restoring the build back up. I let out a burden sigh and wonder why I let everything become like this. “It's because I'm so weak..”
