After the stadium lift reached the ground level, I step out onto the sand and dirt, which was heavily stained with blood of former matches. The audience cheered wildly, even though they had no idea who I am, other than he was a decorated mage I'm wearing my all black outfit with my armor underneath. In the center of the ring, I draw my rapier, my double-edged sword and raised it skyward as I greet to the gathered thousands. The arena is about 50 meters long and wide giving all the space in the world to fight in. The ground is completely made of dirt with nothing to be used as coved or hinder movement. An open plain area to that doesn't favor any sort of mage. I stand straight in the middle of the area with all my weapons and items.

Shinzu burst through the gates dressed in pitch-black armour. Strapped to his back would be a crimson lance that he would waste no time in brandishing to his foe. “Your victories end here.” He grinned before adjusting the two holstered knives by his waist with his off hand. The lance itself was short enough to be wielded by the guild masters right hand alone.

The crowd is loud as they burst in a large cheer as my opponent steps forth. They want to see action, they want to see brutality, they want to see violence and most importantly, they want to see blood! They quickly settle down once the two are in distance of each other. I take my scythe from my back, and get into my fighting stance. My opponent is five meter away from me and there's nothing around to hinder any movement. I take a deep breath and plan out my attack. From this distance, we both can see each other attack coming, but will have a hard time reacting to anything. I grab a quick smoke bomb and presses the button. I quickly toss it out and by the time it lands it creates a smoke screen that reach five meters. Blocking each other path, but I don't give any my opponent too much time to react. I channel my magic throughout my body and burst into massive speed in an arc that's behind my opponent. However, this is a mere distraction as it only a different time line of me. What over there will only appear for a brief second behind the blue hair man (if he's still in the same spot) and it only makes a noise and motion as if it will attack, then poofs. In the mean time, I increase magic into my scythe as I strike at him. Skipping the entire observation stage of a fight and going for the kill. My scythe reaches up to 30 meters and able to slice a whole house in a single swing! If my opponent is in the same place and got distracted from a different time line me, he won't notice this huge attack from behind very quickly or at all! Skill Name: Lie detector Description: The user can tell if someone lying or telling the truth. This is a huge benefit in various ways, such as when someone tries to bluff, hide information, or whatever. If they're lying in some sort of way, the user will know right away
Weapon Expert The user is a weapon user expert. This means in battle against a none weapon user, he will have a large advantage. If they have a weapon, he will have a moderate advantage (even if you have a weapon doesn't mean you know how to use it.) Anyone who has a skill similar, they will go about even. Spells that makes them expert in weapons or martial arts will depends on the spell.
Tracking knowledge Knowledge from his previous life that he didn't forget. The user can track someone down by their threads. However, if the post is over a month old, they cannot use that thread.
Spell Name: Save point! Level: C Range: Medium Description: The caster dashes behind a person back at blinding speed. However, this is a different time-line version of the user. Meaning, the caster is still in the same location they started at. The timeline version will look and feel as if they're really there. However, it only last for a second and cannot do anything. More or less just a distraction. Drawback: If nothing is covering their movement, it's doubtful anyone will fall for the spell. The time-line only last for a second.
Weapons and armor Name: Guardian of Kings Ver. II Level: A Description: A powerful rapier with obvious origins that are no doubt linked to some sort of wealthy noble family. It is said that a mad King was unhappy with the enchantment of the previous rapier, which lead to this second version being forged. Much like the original Guardian of Kings, this version is encrusted with jewels, though this time, diamonds and emeralds specifically. Also unlike the golden trimmings of its sister, this weapon is lined with platinum, making it slightly more expensive than the more noble-looking counterpart. Legend says that anyone cut by the weapon will receive a second wound identical to the first a few inches lower down in their body, almost as if the weapon possesses a secondary blade that is invisible to the naked eye. Name: Kingsguard Level: A Description: A rare and glorious set of armour that has been crafted from only the finest of materials. Each armour is custom-made for its user depending on his or her own unique tastes. Each armour does share some similarities, however, such as the intricate designs which are layered on top of the armour with sheets of gold. The armour also has large chunks of jewels embedded into it at various locations, such as the shoulders and the centre of the chest. Legend also says that each set of armour is blessed by at least three different priests the moment it is crafted, which no doubt has contributed to the rather absurd and overvalued price tag attached to it. Still, the Kingsguard does boast moderate protection against both physical and magical attacks; so you still have that going for you, which is pretty nice. Price and Availability: 10,000 jewels. Name: Bringer of Demons Level: A Description: A rather evil looking gauntlet that looks as if it has been freshly decapitated from the arm of a demon. The gauntlet is a strange fleshy red in colour, though will light up in a blueish hue the moment it is worn by a mage. Not only do the fingers of the weapon end in razor-sharp talons, but the weapon also possesses the ability to summon a giant spectral hand which stands at about the size of a carriage. The ghostly hand will appear immediately after feeding the weapon with a B-Rank worth of mana and will follow the wielders hand movements, allowing it to act as an extension to the user’s body. The spectral hand will remain at the users command for the duration of the thread, however, it can be destroyed prematurely by an attack of the same rank as the weapon itself. Name: Big Bang Rank:A Description: Big Bang is an invention of the Hikari family. Big bang to put it simply, a bomb. It's in a shape of a blue sphere with magic runes around it. Inside the spare holds magical energy that can explode in high-impact aoe damage. Each bomb is only one use each time. The bomb does A rank damage, and range reaches up to five meters. Price and Availability: 3,000 per bomb.
Name: Earl Scythe Level: A Description: The scythe is about four meters long and has a very long blade at the head. The blade is about three meters longer in an arc like a crescent moon and its double edge. There's a switch on the pole of the scythe to release the head with a chain inside. The chain can reach out up to 10 meters. If the caster pours their magic into the scythe, they can make the head of the scythe (such as the blade) expand drastically, but the weight doesn't increase at all for the user but will increase for the opponent. Increasing it size to about 10x. However, this only last for one post and has a four-post cooldown. Price and Availability: 25,000 jewels. Requires Geno permission.
Name: FINAL FLASH! Level: C Description: A small sphere with a unique design. On top of the sphere is a button that if pressed, within three seconds will cause the sphere to explode. The explosion doesn't do any damage, but instead causes a bright flash. The flash will blind someone for half of a post. The user can also be caught if they look into the flash. Price and Availability: 500 jewels and anyone can buy it.
Name: Slime Level: C Description: A green sphere that has a button on top of it. Once pressed, within three seconds the sphere will explode and spread out a green slime that covers everything within eight meters. The slime does no damage, but makes it hard to move around as it very sticky. More to the center of the explosion will make it harder to move. Price and Availability: 500 jewels and anyone can buy it.
Name: Itchy gas. Level: B Description: A small sphere with a unique design. On top of the sphere is a button that if pressed, within three seconds will cause the sphere to releases a gas that causes anyone who just happens to touch it to feel itchy all over their body for two posts. This does no damage at all. Price and Availability: 800 jewels and anyone can buy it.
Name: Smoke bomb Level: D Description: A small sphere with a unique design. On top of the sphere is a button that if pressed, within three seconds will cause the sphere to releases smoke that can block people view and cause minor coughing. The smoke spreads out to five meters. Price and Availability: 200 jewels and anyone can buy it.
Name: concussion bomb Level: C Description: a grenade that relies for its effect on the blast of its detonation rather than the fragmentation of its case and is often designed to stun rather than kill. On top of the grenade is a button that pressed has a three second timer. After three seconds, release a five meter shock wave that makes someone disoriented and stunned for three seconds. Price and Availability: 500 jewels and anyone can buy it.

In response to the opponent brandishing his scythe, Shinzu would grab his lance and keep it at the ready in his right hand. “Smoke?” The moment the opponent would throw the smoke bomb, the guild master would extend his hand outward, unleash a blast of lightning that would branch out into five bolts aimed at the general location of the enemy. Assuming the foe didn’t move since throwing the bomb, at least two of the lightning bolts would strike and electrocute him. If Aether did move, however, the other three bolts were aimed in such a way that one would strike him if he either moved towards the left, right or backwards. “You shot yourself in the foot. Thanks to this smoke, you’ll never see my attack coming.”Shinzu would then turn as he noticed a sound coming from behind him. “A illusion?” The image of the foe would not attack and rather, simply vanished. “W-What?” Despite the roar of the crowd, Shinzu would pick up on the sound of a large object slicing through the air. “A sword?” With no time to turn around to face the attack, the guild master would simply duck down with his head close to the ground until the sound waves of the object would begin to move further away. “It moved in an arc… That was his scythe? How did it get so huge!?” At this point Shinzu was just guessing. He hadn’t seen the attack, however, he could estimate that it was much larger than before due to the sound it emitted while being swung. Shinzu would then carefully hone in on the man’s footsteps while he took a few steps backwards and moved towards the left. Whether the opponent moved or remained at his original location, Shinzu would know and once he did, he would fire another volley of lightning bolts at the opponent, once again, five that would be aimed at various locations around the initial target in case the enemy somehow noticed at the last second and attempted to dodge. Skills: Weapon Mastery: This skill represents Shinzu’s unparalleled close combat prowess in the arena with polearms and similar weapons such as lances or spears. Not only does this extend to being able to wield such weapons in close combat with an impressive level of skill, but it also stands testament to Shinzu’s deadly precision when resorting to using his weapon as a makeshift javelin. Foes reliant on magic or their fists will be at a disadvantage when faced against such an assault unless they too are highly proficient in their choice of weaponry.
Resilience: Having taken part in countless battles which have often lead to many life threatening injuries, Shinzu has developed somewhat of a high and almost inhuman resilience against pain. With this also stemming from his will to live, Shinzu’s threshold against exhaustion and other limitations that may restrict others is absurdly high. While this does not make him any stronger or faster than most enemies, it does allow him to combat stress, adversity and life threatening scenarios to a higher degree than others through sheer willpower.
Heightened Senses: Life in the arena helped hone Shinzu’s senses to the point where his gift of hearing reached a level far above his peers. Although there is nothing supernatural about his ears, Shinzu can often pick out quite a high level of detail from a simple sound, such as being able to judge distance and the direction of the source much better than a normal person. This acute level of hearing also allows Shinzu to pick out sounds that may otherwise be inaudible, such as honing in on a whisper amidst a crowd or being able to audibly recognize subtle noises such as the rustle of a nearby bush. Items: Name: x2 Shadow Knife Level: A Description: A strange throwing knife that has been wrapped in a rugged white bandage. Mysteriously, despite the bandage covering the sharp edges of the blade, the throwing knife still functions as per normal and can be quite deadly in the right hands. Although no one has lived to be able to confirm this, it is said that if the intended target of the throwing knife moves after the weapon has left the wielders hands, the knife may shift its own direction and trajectory on its own once per throw at the cost of C-Rank mana. Name: Gae Bolg Level: A Description: Gae Bolg is a spear that possesses a length of 6 feet, making it rather average in length and able to be wielded rather easily with nothing more than a single hand. The entire weapon is tinted in a shade of crimson and most notably, the shaft bears numerous designs running along it that seem to resemble thornless vines. Gae Bolg’s main ability is to inflict heavy wounds to enemies who may come in contact with the weapon, whether indirect or not. This includes brushing clothing against the spear or even clashing blades against it, the act of which will result in the weapon lighting up in a strong red hue. The wound inflicted is quite dangerous, being on the same level as taking a direct hit from the blade of the spear itself. Due to this, the wound will appear in an explosion of gushing blood, although one thing to note is that the location always varies and is purely random. The wound itself also cannot penetrate bone and will never directly injure any vital organs. Mostly, this ability is used to slow down opponents and disable limbs as opposed to outright killing them. This ability is, however, limited to two charges at maximum. As soon as the ability is activated, Gae Bolg will lose a charge and go into a three post cool down. After which, the ability can only be activated one more time for the duration of the thread. Price and Availability: 20,000
Name: Kingslayer Level: A Description: A corrupt version of the Kingslayer armour that has been unblessed by at least three different tainted souls (apparently unblessing is a thing now). Kingslayer is similar to its counterpart, however, all of the gems that once adorned the armour have mysteriously vanished, leaving only craters and tiny dents in their wake. Now, the armour only appears to offer slight resistance against physical and magical attacks. The armour does, however, fill its wearer with a strange sensation of power once donned. Some say that once worn by the right individual, it can greatly increase the wearers physical and magical attacks. Price and Availability: 15,000 jewels. Shop only. Spells: Spell Name: Forked Lightning Level: C Range: ~ Description: By extending a hand outwards, the user may unleash a single bolt of lightning at an intended target. Before reaching the opponent, the lightning will then branch out into five other bolts that will all remain connected to the original spell. Essentially, this allows the user to target multiple enemies at once and even throw them off guard by only triggering the branching at the very last second. Drawback: Despite being considered an area of effect spell, the lightning can only target five very specific areas once it splits. Shinzu also has no real control over the lightning. The initial bolt may only move in a linear direction and upon branching out, the five individual bolts cannot track down enemies. Instead, they will simply change direction once in order to launch themselves at the targets general locations.
Spell Name: Raijin Form Level: A Range: ~ Description: Like the name may suggest, this spell allows the user to tap into abilities that will transform him into a literal avatar of lightning. In this form, the entirety of the user’s body will gain an unnatural cobalt-blue hue. This will especially be prominent around the hands, feet and hair, which in particular will generate miniature bolts of lightning. In general, Raijin form allows the user to gain direct control over all electrical impulses within his body in order to directly transmit them from the brain to chosen muscles whilst bypassing everything along the way. Not only does this significantly boost the user’s reflexes, but it also grants the ability to move at speeds beyond what can be considered inhuman for extend periods of time. Drawback: Raijin Form will drain the user of mana for every post that it is left active. Extended use can also damage the user’s muscles and lead to a great level of fatigue. Raijin Form also cannot be used in conjunction with any other ‘Form’ spell.

My blink illusion like attack had confused my opponent as he shot in the direction it ran. However, how did he know which direction it ran? With the smoke screen, there shouldn't be any way for him to know the time-line had run in that arc direction. As I swing my weapon, I don't feel anything within my attack. Did I just swing through air and miss completely? No, I didn't see him running out of the smoke screen in any direction. Suddenly, a lightning bolt like attack comes from the smoke screen. Before I have time to process the information, I am hit on the chest. The blow almost knocks me off my feet, but I keep a firm stance. Thankfully, it was low rank spell, and my armor has a good magic resist. However, it still stings me a bit as I let out a grunt noise. Information that I have gathered, he can use lightning magic and able to react to attacks despite his loss of sight. Does he have a sixth sense, see in the future, or perhaps it's something else?
As the smoke clears, I see a lightning like aura around him. From what I can understand, he used his lightning magic to dodge and counter attack me. Alright, let see if this next attack works on him. I snap my finger and reverse time on the smoke bomb just enough to create a new smoke screen while simultaneously, my right eye glows with rune symbols, I increase the time accurately below my opponent in a six meter radius, causing time to speed up so fast it causes an intense explosion. Outside of the explosion, the main damage from this attack, is all the debris.
I take this time, reach into my pocket and grab a slime bomb. By creating about 10 different time lines of the bombs tosses them. While in mid air, they will explode and spread out around my opponent. The slime does no damage, but it's made of liquid and very sticky. This will make it very hard to move around. Additionally, they take up 8 meters of each, thus, 80 meters wide range to cover around my opponent. I keep my scythe up and block with it on all debris that fling out towards me from the explosion. Though from here, I'm pretty safe from it by being just out of it edge of the explosion.
