Hearing both Zuzuki and Erik being interested in doing missions lit a fire inside the guild master. Feeling that little bit more confident in her abilities, she grinned happily at both of the mages. Maybe a part of her wanted to lift up the atmosphere, because what she intended to be humour didn't end up being taken that way, at least that was what Kasumi had gauged from the situation.
"If you want, we can all go on a mission together. Kasumi interjected, her eyes gazing over to the mission board "I'd personally recommend a D rank mission just because they're the easiest, but doing them still allows people to recognise the we as a guild are still around. Of course, if you think then you're stronger, then you can try some of the higher ranked missions. Bare in mind they might be a bit difficult though."
Was she coming off as patronising? She shot a concerned look to Syana, hoping that she could provide some reassurance. However, Syana seemed to be preoccupied with something. Therefore, Kasumi felt herself flustering a little. She didn't know what sort of impression she was making and she sincerely hoped that it was a good one. After all, it was the first time she was encountering Erik and she was supposed to be the new guild master. She hoped to give the man confidence rather than uneasiness.
Scanning the area, she noticed someone else looking over at the small crowd. One more person joined the group, asking Erik for some food. Seeing the signs of life and activity in the area did give Kasumi some relief. It signified to her that Fairy Tail,was still alive. Hopefully, she'd be able to lead it well. She felt a lot of expectations on her and she was slowly starting to realise the sheer magnitude of her job.
