My mind constantly poison that filled with venom while I'm strolling through the village in my wheel chair. I'm keeping my distance from others. I'm dressed in a pure white outfit with bandage covering my face. My right eye is the only visible detail. No one tried to speak or get me to respond. Even if they tried, I won't respond. Anyone who ever got to close, I kill them with no memory. It's best that I keep everyone away.
Inside my mind filled with my darkness and depression as I try to file away and forget, similar to bad grades or an overgrown nail that I want to ignore. My mind is trapped in a sea of depression while not knowing how to swim. The wheel chair makes a clicking noise as I ride through the village with no destination in mind. My wheels need oil or it will annoy me too far soon. I stop for a moment and look for somewhere I can use my magic out of sight.
Whiles it's more accepting of magic, it's best to stay hidden. I move over to a dark alley and keep away from everyone. I pour my time magic backwards. The wheel chair looks and sound new after I finish up. Suddenly, I feel danger nearby! I look at my surroundings see two large thugs. “HEY YOU FIFTHLY RUNT, WE SAW THAT!” They approach me with animosity. I don't respond or try to run away. One thug grabs my shirt while breathing in my face. “You stinking mage, you think we'll pity you because you're in a wheel chair?!”
They take offense to my lack of response and toss me out of my wheel chair. They start kicking and punching me whiles on the ground. I don't curl up or feel any physical pain from their attacks as my mind and body are too numb. I want to tell them to hurry or kill me. Otherwise, it's a waste of our times.

Being a fugitive wasn’t easy. So far nobody had discovered him, since he was well disguised, but that didn’t take away that dreaded feeling… That someone after him, hunting him, maybe even various people. Taichi hadn’t dared ask anyone about whether there was a bounty on his head or not, the insecurity driving him insane. Not to mention the guilt he felt over what he had done to mages, his own family all these years, and leaving his mother and sister behind like a selfish coward.
The forests going from west Fiore into south Fiore had terrible climate, the forest in the west being cold and harsh, and transferring to the south becoming swampy and moist. Anyone with a bad immune system would get a terrible flu when traveling unprepared, but thankfully Taichi had a strong resistance and had only caught a slight cold so far. Nevertheless he was worn out from all the travel, his shoes and pants covered it mud, and even the bottom of his cloak was damp, muddy and worn out.
He couldn’t even remember for how long he had been traveling through the forest, but it felt like an eternity. His foul mood lightened up when he saw a light spot floating in the foggy distance, as he neared revealing itself as a lantern. He smiled in relief, a town! This was the least thing he expected to find in this muddy swamp of despair. Upon entering the town he enjoyed the solidity of stone beneath his shoes, but as his mind found rest in the reassurance of civilization it unloaded the stress that it had been keeping from his body.
He didn’t know just how exhausted he was until he walked through the alleys, his throat hurting from the cold he was suffering, and body exhausted from the long, cold, relentless journey. Because of this his foul mood caught up with him already, and moved into an alley to cough up some slime and spit it on the ground.
Out of nowhere he heard a loud yell, a moment of shock going through his being as he thought someone had recognized him as the dog trainer. Though he just as quickly let go of it, knowing he hadn’t used any magic or had any dogs with him to fit the description. He looked around him to see what the fuss was about, the sound of a beating passing through the alley ways. Following the sound of the troublemakers he stumbled upon a scene depicting the cruelty of men. “Kch!”
He gritted his teeth in anger, his hand reaching for the knuckle duster in the hind-pocket of his pants. “Hey!” he shouted, getting their attention. He didn’t know why they were attacking the poor man, but it mattered not, all he saw was cruelty, a painful reminder of who he used to be. He charged at the thugs, pretending like he was going to throw a punch. They fell for it and attacked themselves, allowing him to dodge one of the guys and made his mark on the other instead, the knuckle ending up on the side of the thug’s eye, causing bruising and bleeding.
Though he did take a few hits himself, he was clearly at the upper hand in this fight. Although he didn’t use any magic as to conceal his identity, his maneuvers were clearly recognizable as those of the Lotus Castle fighting trade to anyone familiar with the kingdom in west Fiore. It was only a matter of moments for him to beat the guys down, his cruel habit returning as he continued to beat and kick into them even after they had lost consciousness.
Thankfully his body was reaching its limit, forcing him to catch his breath and snap out of his insanity. Though he felt no remorse for these thugs, they had it coming for beating down a defenseless man. He walked over to the victim rather poorly, his body on the brink of collapsing himself from the tiresome journey and harsh weather. Stopping before the other he heaved his runny nose, then cleared his throat before speaking up. “You okay?”

They continue to kick and punch me to an extent that throbbing pain is surging in me. I don't resist or respond besides letting a tiny groaning noise. A small part of my inner thoughts want to retaliate. Unfortunately, the sea of darkness drowns it out and tells me to take the punishment. This is karma for hurting and killing my friends. Just because I have no memory of it doesn't erase the sin. My eyes become heavy as I close them until I hear someone of yelling.
My eyes open and I see this newcomer attacking the thugs. The newcomer beats the thugs down until they're unconsciousness. There's a glimmer of magical energy coming from his body, confirming he's a mage. However, I'm able to sense magic, but it's unknown if he can do the same. The young man with a running nose comes and checks on me. This a pointless kind gesture as I deserve it everything. My one eye looks at my surrounding and the boy.
I tilt my head to the right and shrug. It's better that I just die and take what coming to me. The world itself be better off without me anyway. I crawl to my wheel chair and sit right back in while gazing at my clothing. The fisherman won't be happy that my clothes gotten filthy. My face turned purple from the attack, and my clothes are dirty from their shoes. I pat myself down to dust off and nod to the guy who helped me. A pointless kind act, but I need to show some kindness.

The man managed to climb back into his wheelchair, which felt a bit odd to just stand by and watch. Though at the same time he thought it would be disrespectful to offer him any help, for it might be taken as demeaning. He bent through his knees a bit to become at eye level with the other, his hands resting on his own knees. The man’s face was bruised and needed treatment. He assumed he was in too great of a shock to speak just yet, and with a beat up face speaking would have been painful anyway. “Good. But you’re all beat up though.”
Taichi slowly stood up straight again and averted his eyes. Just how many slaves had he recently beat up in a similar manner? His own kind, not that he knew this at the time, but that didn’t make it right. He moved behind the wheelchair and grabbed on to the handles, not even bothering to ask for permission. “I’ll walk you home, or to your hotel, if this place even has a hotel..”
He couldn’t understand why anyone would ever willingly come to a swamp town. The climate was awful. He started walking, pushing the wheelchair in front of him and exited the alley. It felt as if his body had run out of fuel and was running on pure willpower, each step heavy, the wheelchair functioning as a support object. He didn’t even realize he had forgotten to put his weapon back into his pocket. “Just tell me if we need to turn left or right”

A small groaning escapes my mouth in annoyance. I'm not sure why he's being kind to someone like me; I'm someone who shouldn't exist or live. By being alive, is hell for me. There's no right for me to breath, no right to eat, and no right to receive help. However, I'm unable to talk and move proper to resist his help. I shrug my shoulders and point my index finger into a direction.
There's no destination, but to roam the village. Most of the villagers ignore us, but they raise a few eyebrows. From a glance, the village looks poorly made. Even the world government will overlook the village from the design. My head rest on my palm as we strolls along. The only thing I'm thinking is how to die. I see a bridge up ahead, on a whim I head towards there. I don't want live and I'm a burden. Fate is playing games while laughing at me. My eyes shift towards the swamp river and notice how disgusting it looks. This world and life are pointless. Everyone important is dead because I killed them.
The river looks deep, but the stream is not very strong. I could fall into the river right now and drown. This a fitting end for me, and with this water, no one will dare to dive in. There's a high chance if I dive in I'll die. This thought fills my head like a poison and there's no cure in sight. An ocean of venom which is dragging me down to hell. Without warning, I leap from my hair and dive head-first into the swamp river. My body seeps underneath the water as river current carries me off.
ooc: sorry, busy week for me. DX

Taichi followed the directions that the crippled man gave out, steadily moving onward to their destination. He thought he was taking him to a hotel or a house, but was instead lead to a lake. Confused about this dead end he came to a stop and looked around. On the left he saw a bridge, and figured that he’d have to cross it to get the man to the other side. Though before he could turn the wheelchair the other leaped out and ended up in the filthy swamp water. He could not believe this was happening to him, all he wanted was some rest in a nice cozy bed for the first time in forever, and now he had to save a cripple from drowning! “Hey! What are you doing!?”
What he said was pretty pointless since the other was already in the water, and was taken away by the slight current. He face palmed at what he was about to do, and then took off his cloak and whistle and hung them over the wheelchair. Without wasting more time he jumped into the lake and swam over to Aether, the water cold and his body tired and sick. This caused him to have a harder time rescuing the man, but managed it nevertheless, grabbing onto him and swimming back to the edge of the lake.
He climbed out whilst still holding on to the other, and then lifted the man out by his armpits. He collapsed beside him from exhaustion, panting from the exercise. He was furious and turned his attention to the man lying beside him, his painful throat not stopping him from speaking his mind. “What’s wrong with you! Do you have a death wish or something!?”

My body drift along the current as I slips deeper within the yellow river. As I let myself go, my eyes closes to sleep. Air bubbles escaping my mouth and nose rise to the surface. My clothing and bandages floats within the water. For someone drowning, you think of kicking and screaming. Water splashing around as the downer screams for help until their body unable to resist sinking within the water. My head is pounding, and every cell in my body is screaming for oxygen.
Despite the pounding, despite my body screaming for air, I ignore it. Drowning doesn’t hurt as I thought, it’s peaceful actually I begin to fall. I fall further and further into the darkness until it threatens to swallow me whole, or so I thought. Unexpectedly, I feel a tug at my body. Did I get stuck to something, I ponder. I open my eyes and see someone pulling me up. Why doesn't he understand my lack of will to live?
The person lifts me out of the water and pulls me to dry land. It's the boy from before who helped me from those thugs earlier. He's exhausted and panting out of breath. The boy has an angry expression on his face as he asks me if I have a death wish. I cough and spit water out of my mouth. The taste of swamp and brine water leaves a nasty after taste. My body is cold. My body temperature must've lost a few degrees.
I pound on my chest with my fist to get water out of my chest. I look at the boy and nod to him, answering his angry question. It's obvious to anyone; I don't want to live. Some of the locals rushed towards us to see what is going on. They check on both, me and the boy. One of the locals recognizes me and says, “He tried killing himself again. Yesterday, he tried hanging himself, the day before he tried cutting himself. We try to keeping anything sharp or harmful to him. Even so, he always finds something.”

When Eather nodded Taichi’s eyes grew large, unable to understand why anyone would want to kill themselves. Though when other people started approaching he dropped all previous thoughts and got worried for his own wellbeing. He was on the run after all, and although he doubted anyone in this remote village knew of him it was better to avoid any unnecessary human contact. He quickly looked over himself to see if he had anything suspicious on him, and realized he was still wearing his weapon. He quickly stuck it back in the hind pocket of his pants before the villagers arrived on the scene.
He sat upright, his body getting colder by the second since he was shirtless and wet. Though because he was still on an adrenaline rush and already completely worn out it didn’t affect him any more than before he jumped in the lake. The villagers were thankfully concerned about the suicidal man’s wellbeing, as opposed to the thugs that had at him. After hearing them out he got back on his feet, groaning from exhaustion. “Great, just perfect.”
He was of course being very sarcastic. There was too much going on with himself right now, so he couldn’t carry any more luggage like this, it was very unwanted. Yet he couldn’t just leave the man to his fate either. He walked over to the wheelchair and bound the whistle to his wrist, hoping nobody would notice his dogwhistle or note it as significant. He handed his cloak to one of the bystanders. “Can you hold this for me please? Thank you.”
He then helped the crippled man back into his chair and took his coat back from the bystander. When he moved away from the bystander he had a bit of a coughing fit, and covered his mouth with his arm as to prevent contaminating anyone. He spat the slime he coughed up onto the ground and started feeling how cold his body had become, even starting to shiver. Still, he didn’t want to wear his cloak yet since he didn’t want it to get wet, although it was already moist from the fog. “Do you guys know what hotel he stays at, or does he have a house here or something?”

The boy eyes grew in shock and confusion. For normal people, it must be hard to understand why I want to end my life. As the village comes over, the boy goes into a panic. He looks over his body and found a weapon. He places the weapon into his pants pocket. I'm not sure what is the point in hiding the weapon; it's not unusual to carry a weapon on yourself to stay safe. Not just humans, but dragons, monsters, demons, and unknown creatures, everyone got the right to protect themselves.
The boy must be freezing from lack of proper clothing. His entire body drench wet from the rescue. He should've let me drown and move on with his life. The villagers come over with dry towels for us both. They hand the boy the dry towel, but they don't try with me. They understand that I want to die, period. The villagers take off the bandages and replace them while drying me with the towel. "You need to stop, Aether," said one villager. "Everything not horrible as you think it is." I let out a deep sigh as my face is shown. When I look into a mirror, I see a deform face. A deform scar face that even children run on sight.
To everyone else, my face is perfectly fine. Several local women given me compliments. I know they're lying. I jumped from a cliff and dive straight down. There's no way I don't look to deform. Once my bandages are fixed, I brush them off. I slap the towel out from their hand to make them stop. One villager let out a sigh and looks at the boy. Oh look, he's still clinging onto me as he gets behind my wheel chair. "He lives around the corner by the docks. He stays with a fisherman and his wife." I scratch my head as the bandages are itchy as I glare at everyone. I wish everyone to leave me alone and let me die! "You'll see the house right away."

When some of the villagers arrived with towels and offered them Taichi happily accepted. At least with his upper body dry he could wear his cloak again. Not that it would help much since he was sick and cold, but it was better than being half naked and wet. Though now he kind of wished he had taken off his pants before jumping into the lake. He picked up on a conversation between the crippled man and a villager, learning that he went by the name of Aether. It was an unusual name, but that didn’t concern him. He just wanted to get washed up and go to sleep in a bed, the moist swamp trees unable to compare to human craftsmanship, he would probably be out for a long time if he managed to arrange a sleeping accommodation.
The bottom part of his cloak got soggy from his wet pants, but he didn’t care. He was told where Aether resided, and that meant he could make his way to a hotel as soon as he dropped him off. With one hand on the wheelchair handle and the other waving at the villagers he gave his appreciation. “Thanks everyone, I’ll make sure he gets home safe”
That said he focused on the task at hand and made his way to the directions he had been given, and despite his physical condition pushed through. Though he wasn’t in the mood for talking, so he didn’t say a word on their way there. Soon enough he arrived and knocked on the door of the establishment. When it opened he looked apologetically, which only made him appear more sickly. “Sorry to deliver him all wet. He tried to drown himself, and I had to fish him out”

The boy pushes me to where I'm presently living. A long and loud sigh escapes my mouth the closer we reach the house. The house not very big as it only have two floors with no basement. The house got two windows in the front with a porch in front that's handicap assemble. So despite being trapped in my wheel chair, I can come and go as I please. I rest my arm on the armrest and lay head on my palm. From inside, there's muttering. I knew they be home, but a guy can hope that they wouldn't be there. Fuck, why can I just die already?!
The husband of the couple opens the door and raises an eyebrow in confusion to see a stranger at the door. The fisherman is in his 50's dressed in fishing outfit. However, this confusion is quickly removed as Taichi reveals why he's here. A deep sigh comes out of the fisherman mouth and turns back inside while yelling. “Martha, he tried drowning himself again.” A loud groan is heard from inside. After a moment, he comes back out with a towel. “Please come in and I'm sorry for the trouble.” Once inside, Taichi see the place small and clean.
An older woman approaches Taichi. Her eyes have dark deep circle bags showing signs of lack of sleep. “Yesterday, he tried taking numerous pills at once. The day before he tried hanging himself and the rope broke. The moment our eyes are off of him, the dear tries again. We've been taking care of him, but we have no idea to do,” says the fisherman wife. I'm sitting here, not reacting or responding to a thing. I simple want everything to end, but I can't have that.

Hesitant at first, Taichi decided to take up the man’s offer to enter the house and pushed Aether’s wheelchair inside. Before entering he took off his shoes, they were completely soaked with swamp water and his socks and feet were too, making a disturbing noise as he walked. “Thank you”
He wasn’t planning on staying for long, his cold and sick body needed a warm bath and a bed as soon as possible so he had to find a hotel. He coughed up slime again and covered his mouth as he did so, but this time had to gulp it back down because he couldn’t just spit on the other’s floor. The fisherman’s wife then told him about Aether’s suicide attempts, something a villager had also alerted him about previously. He sighed sympathetically, feeling bad for the guy and his deathwish.
Though as a sickly mage on the run he had no energy to spare anymore, not in his current state and situation. He sniffed his runny nose, the temperature inside here much warmer than outside. He was still visibly cold however. “Sorry, I don’t know how to fix it either.. If it’s alright I just wanted to drop him off, I need to find myself a hotel for the night, and maybe a pharmacy or something for this cold”
He wasn’t going to ask if he could stay there, he was sick and could contaminate others. Though at the moment he felt so weak he wasn’t even sure he could make it to a hotel, his hands and feet cooperating to keep him standing by clinging to the wheelchair.

Everyone becoming annoying and preventing me to take any action. I want to die, but they stop me. Whiles it nice that everyone so worry about me and just want help. It's all wasted seeing how I'm not worth the effort. I've killed innocent people, I've killed those taken care of me, and I've even killed my friends. It's a sin that can never be forgotten or wash away.
As the couple leaves the room for a minute to fetch new clothes. Well, I can at least fix his cold for him, I think to myself. I focus on my magic and pouring it on Taichi. Causing time to reverse a few days before he made the trip out here and catching a cold. The two couple comes back into the room and offers Taichi fresh clothes. “Ah please wear these for now until your clothes dry up,” advice the fisherman as he shows Taichi the bathroom to change.
I sigh out and take this chance to fade out. I leave through the backdoor, go around the build to where no one can see me leaving. I need to move on and get away from this village, away from people.
