Deion could only sigh as he read the poster. What had people come to these days. Theiving rascals with no honor or respect for others. It was a somber age indeed. Deion could only laugh. He shoved the paper into his pocket. He was already in the Fairy Tail pub. He, after all, needed some relaxation after the last mission he performed. He could only imagine where those photos would find themselves. He shook off the rather revolting, yet pleasing thoughts and got more alcohol into his gourd. Then, he set out around the pub to find a Mr. Makov. He had his work cut out for him as the place was crawling with people.
He began walking around slowly. His jacket, left at home. The fabric of his purple shirt would rub against another man walking by. Deion found it rather awkard that they were that close, but merely smiled and continued onwards. He shifted his eyes from table to table. He didn't know what this Mr. Makov looked like. It was going to be quite the hassle of course, but Deion didn't mind one bit at all. He trudged onwards, determined to find him in the sea of faces. If only the poster had've given a description of this Mr. Makov, he thought as he slumped down by a man.
He was in his mid 40s and had a large, black beard. His hair itself has quite long and he seemed a bit frail. Deion looked up at him, desperately. "Are you Mr. Makov?", he asked, panting and slamming his face on the table. He was quite the drama queen about this task, as it seemed quite hopeless with a description. The man seemed a bit surprised then answered. "Yes. I am Mr. Makov. Are you the mage who's answering the Hakobe Gang request?", he asked Deion. Deion slammed his fists into the table with fire in his eyes. "Yes sir!", he shouted at the man.

Deion was sitting down now, after having slammed his fists into the table and knocking it over. He had to pick the table back up and clean the floor. Afterward, he was seated across from Mr. Makov to discuss the details of this job, including advice Mr. Makov could provide, information about the Hakobe Gang, what they're usually targeting, why the travellers failed to apply their punishment and so forth. Deion smiled. "I'm Deion Ryder. I'll be taking this request along alone, so I'll need all the details I can get.", he stated flatly. "I'll let you tell me what you know, then I'll go from there.", Deion said as Mr. Makov coughed. He began drinking tea from his cup, smelling of robably green tea with honey.
He finished it before speaking. He let out a sigh and looked sternly at Deion. "First, the Hakobe Gang can either be found in Magnolia Town itself, or in the Hakobe Mountain. They usually steal jewels and other objects of value. Rarely do they take anything else. The travellers failed because the Hakobe Gang used magic on them. So we can be assume that they might be a Dark Guild or just a few mages are mixed it. I advise caution when you fight them. They are highly prone to violence and quite unpredictable.", he stated, taking a moment to breath in.
"I would suggest you get them while they are in town, if possible. There is only four of them, but I warn you to be wary of them. They have numbers against you. But because you, don't seem like much of a mage to me, you might be targeted by them. Who knows.", he stated once more. "I wish you luck. There isn't anything further that I can provide for you.", Mr. Makov stated rather blandly as he tipped his hat and left the pub. Deion slouched back, wondering how he should go about this. First thing first however, was making sure they weren't in town.

Deion exited the pub. He wasn't exactly stressed, but far from mellow and chill. He sighed, scratching the back of his head before shrugging. I don't have any clue where to start looking. They could be anyway in Magnolia Town by now, if they're even in here. My best bet would be to look everywhere before I heard out, he thought, looking and around starting to walking. Or perhaps I could simply stand at the entrance of the town until they enter. But I could be standing there for quite a while. It wouldn't be pleasent, he thought as he noticed four strange, mysterious, suspicious and clearly deviant strangers. They weren't running or committing crimes, but Deion knew these were the Hakobe Gang. Solely based on the fact he could hear them talking abut Hakobe.
He began to walk towards them. He felt naked, without the faint noise of his jacket swinging in the wind as he took a step foward. He looked at them, quite serious and determined. Well, that was certainly easier than I originally assumed it would be. Perhaps lady luck finally wants to be nice to me, he thought as he got closer. "You. I know who you are. Your four are called the Hakobe Gang.", he stated to them as one stepped foward. The others seemed to slink off into the night. The one left spoke up. "You couldn't possibly plan to deal with us, are you?", he asked as Deion stood before him. "I suppose I do.", he stated.
The foe didn't have time to react. Deion was far too angry to allow him any room to dodge. As soon as he had lifted his own arm up to punch, it connected with his foe's jaw, catching of balance as he delivered a knee to the torso. Deion looked down on his sufferin opponent, lifting him by the back of his shirt. He held him up and lamented. "You know what I do to thieves right? I hurt them. Unless they surrender.", he stated, spitting on his opponent before tossing him aside. His foe, once landed, dropped a pistol. "Holder magic, no less of the requip. You didn't have any time to react against me anyway.", he thought, leaving him for the local authorities.

Deion was still in Magnolia Town, heading towards the entrance. He figured the others from the Hakobe Gang had fled that way. I hope I'm rigth, I want a larger challenge, he thought as a sword landed in front of him. "You. I've heard of you. Deion Ryder of the Fairy Royal. Serving the guildmaster. Taking you out would be so much fun.", he stated happily. Deion looked up to see his opponent land nearby. Deion sighed as he pulled the sword from the ground only to drop it. "Man, you guys know stuff. So you also know what my magic is then?", Deion asked him sternly. The foe laughed and cackled.
"Yeah, Reflector. You can distort things. I wanna test the limits of your distortion abilities. So let's see you squirm. And scream for me!", he screeched out, sending several daggers towards Deion. Deion scoffed, jumping back. He stretched out and taunted the man. "Why distort, when I can simply move.", Deion stated, allowing his opponent to fume. Too easy to annoy. This guy will go down simple, he thought. The foe continued laughing as he ran at Deion, arms waving. Deion seemed quite shocked as he closed distance quickly.
A loud sound, from a physical blow could be heard. Something cracked, apparently breaking. Deion had taken a stance and used his palm to deliver a blow to his opponent's face, damaging it serverely, all in due fact to the speed Deion's opponent came at him with, combined with Deion's power and martial artist's skill. He smiled and pulled back, folding his arms as his opponent crumbled below him. "And that's two down. Leaves two to go.", he stated as he could hear a different voices laughing at him.

There is was again. The two, different yet simultanious noises of laughter. It was two people laughing to be quite fair. and it did make Deion feel slight discomfort. Why did it have to be someone laughing. It's quite unsettling and rather inappropriate, he thougth as he stopped, setting his gaze on the final two from the Hakobe Gang that was in town. The first one he looked at, a rather odd court jester like outfit covered him, themed red and black with gold details. He had a white mask on. The other, was dressed more of an acrobatic from a circus, and female. Deion looked at them as they laughed in unison.
"I'm not sure if I should laugh or be scared.", the girl said, placing her balance onto the male as he cackled beneath the mask. "Well darling, I suggest we teach him a lesson.", the clown said, pulling out several torches and lit them. He began to juggle them as the girl herself spit out fire onto each one. The both began laughing, as the man tossed them all at Deion. Deion didn't really feel that he had to do anything. Physical strength didn't seem like their strong suit. The torches only went a few feet before dropping in the ground.
The girl took off and left the man to fight Deion. As he walked foward, the man seemed to beg for mercy. Deion only gave him a stern look, until he was able to grab him by his outfit. Which Deion felt was a huge joke and waist. "I don't give mercy to those who don't deserve it. You're out of luck. And your friend is next.", he said, delivering an uppercut to the poor frail man. Deion almost felt bad that he did that, until he heard the cackling once again, and looking around.

He felt a sharp prick under his skin as he clutched his stomach in pain. He ripped off his shirt, staring in shock at his torso. There was several needles sticking out. He began breathing heavily. He was quite paniced. How did he not see them? Or even hear them. He ran his hand around them. A small amount of blood had began to trickle out, but there was something else there he didn't pick up on, until he coughed. That's it, he thought, brought to his knees. He looked up as she stood above him, laughing.
"You've realised it, haven't you. Those are dipped with a poison that makes the user feel weaker. How does it feel? Most can't even stand. Some go right to sleep. I've had some simply scream for mercy.", she stated as she held more needles. Deion mumbled under his breath about not losing. She laughed maniacally, revealing the several needles that she held between her fingers. Deion looked up at her. It wasn't a look of desperation. It was confidence. "I'll make it out of this...", he spoke out, as she threw them.
They went back into her, causing her to drop to her knees. "You. What did you jst do to me?", she asked, rolling to lay on her back. "My plan was perfect, what did you do!", she shouted at him as Deion rose, having taken less needles than she did. He began to remove them, wincing in pain as he began to speak. "Distortion. It's something I can do. I merely reversed and sent them back to the owner. I'm sure you havent' tasted your own poison. But you'll enjoy it until they come.", Deion sat as the authorities approched. He accepted his payment before sighing. Complaining that he was sore.
