Deion had already sent out the invitation inviting a fellow guildmember, Jaxon, to lunch. Deion was well prepared to pay, dressed with his jacket on as he was seated. The jacket was hung from the chair, adjusted so that it wouldn't be touching the ground. He was reading the menu and playing with the silverware.
His entire goal was to ask Jaxon if he was interested in joining the Fairy Royal. Deion was out to search for willing members and as such, he had to pick members that could show great promise. He had decided that Jaxon was one of those people.

Jaxon was excited; He was merely overwhelmed. After being in the guild for awhile, he'd never really been part of any 'real' teams. He'd worked with other guild members, of course, yet he had never bothered to have created or to actually join in on a party of mages. And there he was, being invited be Deion, to join The Fairy Royal. After being in the guild for long enough, he knew that the Fairy Royal weren't just a team of drunkard jokes. They meant business. When they took a job from the Mission Board, it was going to get done. And there they were; There Deion was, inviting him to dinner to talk about the subject. He couldn't imagine anything better happening to him. He was finally potentially going to be in a team. He might actually have the chance to not have to go on missions alone. Finally, some more excitement for him.
He didn't want to dress like a total slob for this, though. That would just be rude. But he didn't want too dress too fancy- It's just a magic guild team invite, after all. With a light blue collared shirt and a white tie, sleeves rolled back and a pair of matching black slacks, he was on his way. He found himself approaching the restaurant where they were leaving, and he took no hesitation to enter or go any further. Opening the front doors, he enters, allowing the more "posh feel" to the restaurant. He knew he couldn't be wild right now, and had to be on his best behavior. Spotting Deion sitting at a table, he moves to it, a large smile on his face. He never even hit him to tell the confused waiter in front of him. Taking a seat in front of Deion, Jaxon spoke. "Hey, Deion! Sorry if i made you wait long here. But anyways, what's up?"

Deion looked at him. Rather fancy I suppose, but that may change. And he's small, he thought, staring at Jaxon. He seemed to be looking him over, judging the mage on a physical aspect. Of course that would be highly unfair. Undeniably cute, he thought as he set the menu down and smiled. "Ah, Jaxon. It's not a problem at all. Time is always something people seem to have lots of.", he stated rather bitterly, distracted by something.
"Anyway, look over the menu and order anything you'd like. I'll gladly pay, after all it was me who in invited you here. To discuss joining the Fairy Royal.", he said, signalling for the waiter to come over. "Uh, yeah, I'll just have a slice of your cheesecake.", he said to the waiter. "My friend here will be having....", Deion started, hoping Jaxon had been given enough time to decide.

Jaxon plopped himself down on the seat, a large smile on his face. After telling him why he was here, Deion told him that he would take care of paying, and doing all the basic things needed. Jaxon simply nodded, as the waiter made his way over to the table they were seated at, Deion ordered. Jaxon realized that he was in the mood for the same thing, cheesecake, so naturally, he asked the waiter for some as well. "Yea, I'll have the same, thanks." As the waiter took his leave from the table to place the order, Jaxon looked back towards Deion.
"So.. Any reason why you want me to join Fairy Royal? From what I've heard, it was full of great wizards. And-... Never really saw myself in it. Not that I don't want to or anything-... But it just seems like something strange. I'm not the best wizards ever. He exclaimed, stating exactly what was on his mind. He really did never see himself in a team with so much rep, so he really was dying for an answer. He sat there patiently, a curious glint sparkling in his eyes.

Deion seemed to find entertainment in such a statement. "The guild's strength doesn't just come from each individual mage, now does it?", he asked, rather fond of tapping his foot. He looked around before continuing. "It really doesn't. Guilds are where mages can be together. We learn from each other, not from individual mistakes. Fairy Royal, at least, should be comprised of mages who have the potential to embody the heart and soul of Fairy Tail.", he stated rather happily, stopping his foot and sighing.
"Strength will come and go. I can acheknowledge such a fact. But names can be engraved forever. Spirits can live on through someone else. Teaching can be passed from the teacher to a student, and the cycle continues. The world may change but we may not. To represent the spirit of a great guild, it is an honor, is it not?", Deion asked, not even sure why as he continued speaking.
"But even as such, we are all still individuals with our own goals to reach, steps to climb and streets to explore. It is, in the end, your choice to join this team.", he added.

Jaxon took in everything he said, making sure to allow all the information to sink into his head. He'd need to remember these words for the future; they could be life-changing one day. In fact, they really did reach Jaxon. He, as every wizard in every guild did, did have time to change. To improve; they all had potential to become something great, and becoming part of the team would only help with that. He could make new friends, learn new things and become a better mage.
"I'd love to join the team, it'd be awesome." Jaxon stated, smiling. He was sure now, that he could- No, that he could improve and actually match up to be a challenge for some of the most powerful mages, even if it did mean defeat in the longshot. He decided that joining the Fairy Royal would be perfect. He had no doubts about it now. "Yea... The Fairy Royal seem perfect." The waiter approached the table, as he leaned back in his chair, happy as ever.

"Excellent.", Deion said as he began to eat the slice of cheesecake he ordered. He was seemingly happy about the fact Jaxon was going to join. But yet he stood up and grabbed his jacket without hesitation. "I'm truely sorry. I usually refrain from doing this.", he said, leaving payment for all that was bought on the table. "But I simply must be off. I have things to do, so once again my sincerest regards.", he stated a final time as he took off.
