Deion must've been searching around the guild for quite some time now. Whether it was bad luck or good luck that prevented him from finding the recently lost spellbook, he'd never know for himself. It had been a boring thing too. Deion had wanted to stop looking every moment he was actually searching for the book. If it was such an important thing, someone shouldn't have lost it, they should've kept a closer eye on it. He sighed and sat down, scanning the guild once more. He came to the conclusion that it wasn't located inside the guild, but there was still places to check inside the guild.
Deion approched the request bored and sighed. "Well, it's not over here either.", he thought, scratching the back of his head and yawning. He wasn't tired in the slightest, just displeased that this was so troublesome. "I suppose there's only one place to look now.", he stated as he went towards the men's washroom. He sighed as he expected there was nothing in there and he was correct. So he began to relieve himself of some troubles.
As he did this, he lamented on where to search next. Well, it's either somewhere in town, so I suppose I could start in the guy's favorite coffee shop. It must be there, because if not, it will be quite troublesome to ever find the book. I can only hope that no kids find it and start using it, he thought as he put his hands under the warm water to wash them.

Deion had gotton permission to search the coffee shop, as they would be quite concerned with their reputation if something like that was left unchecked. Deion of course, seemed to care less but nonetheless, knew that he would have to find it for a few reasons he could think of, some being safety, reputation and the fact he needed the jewels. He began his search by simply walking around the coffee shop's interior area. He couldn't find a trace of the missing book anywhere inside and was rather intrigued. So he decide to look outside.
He had looked behind every bush. Uprooted every plant, quite literately as there was dirt and plant everywhere, and stuck his nose in every nook and cranny he could get near. He sighed. "Maybe, if I'm lucky, it'll just fall out of the sky instead of being in someone else's hands. Or in a tree. Maybe I'll find it in town after all. And it's such a big place too, it's gonna suck so much to have to find this.", he stated as he yawned and stretched, beginning to walk through the town.
He was working his way to the park when he thought he caught sight of the book. It turned out it hadn't been anything important and he sighed, walking onwards in a rather dreary manner despite what had transpired. He hated this, trying to find something that was nearly impossible to find. He sat down near the entrance of the park, rather enraged, trying to calm down, though to no avail as he stormed into the last place he hadn't looked.

It wasn't bleak or a lost cause. Because there, in a tree of all places happened to be exactly what Deion was looking for. He sighed as he heard a familar noise. Friendly and welcome, was the companion Talon as he slithered beside Deion and hissed his greetings. "Oi, look who finally decided to wake up. It's about time.", he stated as he pointed at the book in the tree. "Go get that please.", he asked as the snake sprouted it's wings and took off for the tree, grabbing the book.
Talon flew back at Deion, how jumped onto Talon's back. The large snake then proceeded to toss the book into the air for Deion to catch. "Well, I'd say that wasn't the best day I've ever had. So boring and average. I didn't like it at all.", he stated, rather bored. Talon began to fly back towards Fairy Tail where the client was waiting.
