Rather than having the trio trek across Fiore to find a place that was in need of their help, it turned out that the very city they were in, Onibas, was in a spot of trouble once more - this time, some of the people were rebelling against the council it seemed, not that Riley thought it was a bad thing usually, but the protests had apparently turned violent.
She walked rather gracefully, as she had when she had first entered the guild. Her footsteps were silent, masked by the sounds around them, particularly the footsteps of the two men accompanying her. She moved with the litheness of a cat, without seemed to even take much note of it. Truly, her training as an assassin did come in handy at times, as much as she hated to admit it.
As they walked, her hands were in her pockets and her eyes were nearly closed, making her appear a little sleepy as she glanced about. She could hear the sounds of chaos up ahead, and sighed a little bit, looking to the two men, Soul in particular since this was his first mission on such a dangerous level, "don't stray too far from one another," she warned, her voice laced with concern, "they are civilians, so we are not permitted to kill them, but there could easily be mages such as ourselves in the crowd. I'd put money on it, in fact," she pointed out, pausing for a moment as a metal trashcan slowly rolled by.
The noises, shouts, the sounds of struggles, alarms, were rather loud, deafening really as they got closer, and she wondered if there was any chance of asking them to peacefully stop what they were doing - though it seemed terribly unlikely.
"Right, well. Any questions, or are we ready?"

Deion seemed rather distraught at the fact Riley didn't have them travel across Fiore or even the world to find a place that required their help. Instead, it had to be in the very town on Onibas. He sighed as he shrugged. So it's a spot of trouble, he said, pondering the idea of getting drunk on another job. It didn't seem distant in his mind, and he entertained it. From what the description of the mission of, Deion would take extra caution. Despite them not fighting another mage, but even so, civilians themselves could be dangerous in the wrong mind.
His footsteps were heavy, in comparasion to Riley, who seemed to simply glide across the ground she stepped on, without a single noise. His walk shadowed his past well. As he walked, his jacket occasionally found the odd gust of wind. His arms were folded and he seemed strangely bored, the gourd hanging from his waist. He glanced down at it to make sure it was still there. He could hear the liquid swishing around in it. He wondered how Riley could move around like that, but didn't question.
Deion's attention seemed to snap into more focus. He could hear the unruly noises of chaos mucking about. He yawned and began drinking from the gourd. When Riley addressed them, Deion grinned stupidly. "My magic will protect me when I need it. Otherwise, I'll rely on my power alone.", he said, drinking some more, seemingly completely uncaring about the situation. "And if there are mages, we need to deal with them first.", he added, as the noises he could hear were rather defeaning and annoying. He stuck a finger in his ear, then looked ahead dumbly.
"Uh, I think I might be deaf already.", he stated, completely unsure himself.

It was odd that his first B rank mission would be so close to home. It just proves no matter where you are it can be very dangerous. Soul was really excited for this mission it was his first real high rank mission. Though truth be told he was also very nervous despite the master's presence.
He walked no more then three feet behind master and only 5 feet away from Deion. He tried his best to walk silently as to help give them the element of surprise. Though with the loudness of the riot Soul doubted that they would even need it.
He blinked as the master turned to himself an Deion. He listened carefully to her words , and couldn't help himself from a mental chuckle. Normally in he would charge into combat , and try to over power them. However this wasn't the kind of mission he could do that with. "I understand." He said in a serious and professional manner. When asked if he had any questions he simply shook his head.
Now the true test of his strength would begin.

Riley arched a brow at Deion's confidence in his magic, which were somewhat big words coming from a man that hadn't yet bothered to use his magic. She wondered if he was bluffing or not, but ultimately decided to leave it be. Although, she did give him a bit of a look as he took a swing of alcohol from the gourd that he was carrying. "There will likely be illegal mages taking advantage of the chaos, don't let it overwhelm you," she warned both of them, looking to Soul whom seemed to agree with her and listen to what she was saying. "If anything happens, I wont be far away," she assured, not wanting him to feel nervous or anything of the sort. By now, they were more or less standing before the chaos, where people felt the need to do what they usually did while rioting, looting, robbing, fighting, etc. The guild master sighed a bit, and the earth seemed to rattle with her exhale. "I dislike it when people feel the need to cause trouble in the city I am protecting," she stating, the rumbling of the ground becoming more violent, more noticeable. She came to a halt, and cracks formed before her feet, where steaming poured out into the air. These cracks shot forwards, as magma under the surface spread out before her, causing the ground to tremble, and buildings to shake in their foundations. Naturally, a mass of people caught within the thirty foot range fell to the ground, though some still managed to remain standing within the range of the attack (and many more still were out of her range). Spell Name: Seism Type: Magma Mage Level: Greenhorn - Mediocre Range: Roughly 20-25 feet in whatever direction she uses the attack in. Description: Under the surface of the earth, lava surges towards an enemy, without coming to the surface. It causing the earth to crack and crumble under the enemies feet, resembling a sort of mini earth quake. This attack flows outwards in the direction that she indicates, traveling a more or less straight path to the target. The earth trembles enough to knock down those with poor balance or those who are not braced for impact, but not enough to cause any real damage to the area.
Feeble: Reaches 25-28 feet. Earth trembles more violently, capable of knocking down those with fair balance. Mediocre: Reaches 30 feet. Earth trembles harder, causing cracks that can damage buildings, knock down anyone within range that is not of higher level.
Drawback: Friendly fire is possible.

Deion would walk foward, seperating himself from Soul and Riley as he walked off to deal with a few people. They were looting a liquor store no less to Deion's amusement. The gourd was back where it belonged and he looked at them smirking, not saying a single word. He taunted for them to come at him. His eyes widened as he brought a hand down on the first one to close the distance, using martial arts to subdue him.
The others decided not to charge in and grabbed small objects. He smirked even more, semmingly stupid or something. "Yeah, through those at me, see what they do. Aren't even proper weapons.", he stated as they approched him. Something seemed wrong when the weapons stopped, distorted and sent elsewhere when they got a bit too close. He smirked again.
"I'm untouchable.", he said as he charged at the now fleeing protestors. Deion seemed intent to get these ones just because they had broke into that specific store type. He laughed and howled wildly as he chased.

Soul tried his best to not get in the way of his masters spell. He wen't into the mosh of people , and ignited his flame sword. In Hopes it would scare off any human civilians. Making sure not to actually hit anyone with the flame's. "I suggest you all leave I would hate to have to hurt one of you."
A mage then quickly jumped at Soul wielding a two handed magical axes. Soul blocked with his own two handed weapon. The following sound was on par with thunder. As the two struck with all their might. "You don't want to do this! Just go home!" Soul said as he tried to reason with the rioter. Who responded with a grin , and another strike.
The two were now locked in combat. The enemy seemed to be a dark user. This battle it's not going to be easy. The two danced with their weapons if one were to get too close they might easily lose a hand. I can't lose not now not ever! Soul thought to himself. The longer the fight wen't on the more his resolve increased.

Riley trudged forwards, stepping over people whom had fallen and watching them as they scrambled and ran away from her - wisely so, no doubt. As she moved amongst the chaos, she seemed to blend in with the crowd, and furthermore into the shadows, both which concealed her as she mingled into the rioting crowd. It was noisy, crowded, and she believed for a while that she was going to be crushed, but once inside a cluster of people trying to overturn a magically powered vehicle, she cast a spell, without so much as making a single movement. Those around her would feel it, a heavy sensation to start, a tingling in the body, but it quickly intensified, bringing a group of people to the ground in an instant. They hit a little hard, but she supposed that was what they got for committing such terribly acts. Among the pile of fallen, groaning and squirming people, she stood, shaking her head a bit, "go home, the lot of you. There's a right and a wrong way to do everything, and this is the wrong way," she pointed out. Riley would then jump from where she was standing, quite a bit higher than a normal person could muster, which hinted that she had perhaps lessened the gravity on herself when she had increased it on the rioters. Her eyes would travel around the chaos - which, if anything was more chaotic now that they had arrived, but at least many people seemed to be fleeing away from the scene. For a moment, she stood in her place, allowing her eyes to search the area for her allies. She spotted Deion, protecting a liquor store and sighed a bit, wondering if there was anything else that occupied his seemingly one track mind. Soul was fighting with someone, likely a mage, and though she would have liked to observe this more closely, she noticed a shadow had fallen over herself, and upon glancing downwards, dodged some sort of weapon that was being swung downwards. She spun around to face the one that had tried to crush her, only to be faced with some sort of troll like monster. Her eyes narrowed a bit, "no, not a monster persay, this appears to be take over magic..." She mumbled, licking her lips softly as she prepared to fight the mage. Spell Name: Dead Weight Type: Heavenly Body Level: Intermediate Range: 50 feet Description: Riley stands her ground, not making any noticeable movements as she manipulates the forces of gravity, causing it to increase to various degrees based on how much magic she is willing to put into it. Everyone and everything within the casting area feel the strain of the increased pressure, causing opponents to hit the ground with brutal force before they're even aware what is going on with surprisingly force as their yanked down by gravity itself. Drawback: The spell has a four post cool down, and every use causes her to be worn out magically for two posts afterward, making it so she can only cast up to intermediate spells after this is used.

Deion shouted wildly as he found himself in a fist fight. Although it wasn't exactly his suit, he partook, as a martial artist. He delivered heavy blows to his opoonents, regardless of gender or being a mage. He was in pure enjoyment, despite the fact he wasn't exactly focusing on the mission. As he slammed two people together with their heads, he shouted something odd. "Now kiss!". It was a strange thing to say, but despite having drunk some of the stolen liquor, Deion was still, yet barely focused. He didn't spot a mage who, sent Deion flying with air magic.
Deion didn't xare where he had landed, although, whilst flying through the air, he noticed the piles of people, probably injured, he didn't really know. But he seen the destruction they gave the town. "Man, it's gonna be a nice long clean up...", he started, blinking and freaing out. "I don't wanna clean this mess up.", he stated dryly as he landed, looking around and spotting a monster. I am so gonna ride that thing like a horse, he thought as he launched himself into the air and onto it's back.
He had hoped it didn't notice himas he clung to it's back, enjoying the view of the chaos and failure of a protest unfold. I just gotta reach it's shoulders, he thought as he began to climn up the toll-like creature. He had no idea whether it was an actual creature or not.

The two mages were near evenly matched. However it was apparent that Soul was being pushed backwards. Crap his blows are stronger then mine are The red Haired man thought as He Blocked another swing from the axe. If I'm going to beat this guy I may have to switch strategies.
Soul shoved the axe away then backed up a couple feet out of range. He sheathed his sword and then drew his charkams. The Axe then swung in a long ark at Soul. He promptly blocked with his charkams, but his opponent vastly overpowered him. Sending him flying a couple of feet backwards.
The mage then Held his axe up high and swung downwards at Soul who was still on the ground. Soul then rolled out of the way and the mage got his axe stuck in the ground. This is my chance Soul thought as he wen't to strike his opponent. Only to halted by some kind of dark shield. The the mage used some Spell to blast darkness at soul successfully knocking him to the ground. Had he bitten off more then he could chew?.... Again?

Riley hoisted her hand, which began to glow a bit, about to launch some sort of attack at the large Troll like creature, when she noted that Deion had managed to climb onto the thing's back, catching glimpses of him around the troll - whom at this point was focusing most of his energy on trying to catch Deion. It was displaying a little too much intelligence while trying to capture him with it's hands, hinting that it was likely a human using magic. Suddenly, her entire began to glow, and once more she used one of the spells that she had earlier used against her two allies. Her feet lifted off of the ground, and with the troll more or less distracted with trying to rip Deion off of it's back, Riley zipped around it unnoticed, hovering a little ways behind it as it thrashed about, trying to get the mage off of it's back. "You're quite a character, Deion Ryder," she remarked, her arms crossing loosely over her chest as she observed him, noting that he seemed to be trying to crawl up the creature's back for some reason or another. She chose not to interfere, because she did not like to constantly step in and hinder the development of lower level mages. As such, she allowed herself to drift upwards a bit more, her eyes flickering to Soul, whom she was now watching closely as he seemed to be struggling. She watched him carefully, but did not yet interfere with his battle, either. Spell Name: Stellar Body Type: Heavenly Body Level: Intermediate Range: Self Description: Instead of outputting astrological energy gathered from the stars, Riley holds it within her body, causing her to glow a brilliant white. In this form she can move through the air at incredible speeds, no longer limited to simply fighting on the ground. It is incredibly hard to detect her in this form (unless she's hovering still), and even harder to catch her. This spell increases her Agility, and speed by 75%, and doubles her damage output for physical attacks while this is active. Drawback: This spell drains the equal to a feeble level spell every post it is active, it can only be sued three times per thread and has a cool down of two posts between uses.

Deion yawned as he jumped off the troll. But before that, he gave it a nice powerful blow to the back. He didn't care whether it was even more angry or not. He yawned again, taking another drink. "This is fun. You should try it, even if it's a mage.", he stated. He seemed dull and bored. "Well, I can't use my magic against this magic. Let's just do it a different way.", he said, putting a crazy look on his face as he took another drink and set the gourd down. "Can't lose that now...", he drifted off as the troll charged at him. Deion jumped back, slightly surprised even that it came head on at him.
Despite that, Deion also tried to hold his ground against it. He seemed to struggle at first. The take-over mage could easily overpower the human, although only to a degree, where Deion was much more nimble due to his size. He wasn't a hulking monster that looked like an idiot. "Power eh?", he stated as he jumped up, as the troll brought both it's fists down into one spot, doing some damage to the ground. Deion smirked as he began his descent. "Power is only half of it!", he shouted as he delivered two blows to the creature, on both hands. He jumped back, only seeming to have enraged it further.
He scratched the back of his head and took another drink, walking away from it. "Hey, Riley. He's all yours. He's too smart and if I wanted to beat him it would take me too long. You'd do it faster than I would. Have at it.", he stated flatly, walking into the crowd and seemingly vanishing.

The enemy mage walked over to Soul , and raised his Axe high. I guess this is it the red haired man thought. As the enemy swung his weapon down. In that last moment Soul realized he was not done in just yet. He used jet propulsion to escape using it while holding the charkams. He manged to evade the blow.
Once out of reach he did a Back flip to arrange his head so it's pointed at the enemy. He then pointed the flames down witch propelled him into the air. He was right above his opponent as he then began to fall. The enemy was ready to swing his axe. Soul then extended his right arm outwards so he looked like super man flying down.
"Ignis blast!" He said as he released a beam of fire upon his unguarded opponent. Soul then did a flip to land on his feet. His opponent fell to the ground he was KO'd from the blow. This round belonged to Soul, but it wasn't long before he was approached by more rioters. However they weren't near the same level as the previous mage.
One took a swing with a club, and soul ducked then quickly jumped an delivered a kick to the back of his head. Another took a swing with his fist witch was avoided easily. Then Soul hit the man in the face with the flat side of the charkam as to not stab him. Soul then looked on as more rioters Moved for an attack. "Bring it on!"was his only response.

Riley frowned a bit, as the mage seemed to find it too troublesome to try to take on the take over mage. "I wonder, what would you do if I were not here?" She asked, sighing a bit as she shook her head. The 'troll' didn't care whom it took on, as it was raging and throwing something of a tantrum. He growled and roared, making the dark haired teen give another ragged exhale. "Oh, hush you," she commented, hovering around the trolls head. As it tried to make a grab at her, she easily dodged it, deciding that she did not have the time nor the patience to deal with the mage any further. "You should feel honored," she announced, circling the monster at a rate that the creature could not even follow, "I have never used this particular spell again an opponent before. You will be the first to suffer defeat at it's hands," she announced, as orbs of light appeared overhead, arranging in the form of the Aquila constellation, threads of light connected these orbs, and with a flash of light, the spell took on the shape of an actual bird. Riley took this moment, while the troll was distracted, to dart backwards. The bird, made of shimmering light, like that of a star, dove at the troll, following him and striking him on the back - effectively knocking him onto his face, causing the earth to shake a bit, out like a light from the impact and the power of the spell. The mage reverted to it's natural form and Riley sighed, glancing around, and noting that the majority of the rioters has departed, she lowered herself to the ground, the glowing fading from her body as she bound the take over mage, for the officials to arrest, no doubt. Spell Name: Heavens Hawk Type: Heavenly Body Level: Intermediate Range: 50 feet Description: Each of the points of the Aquila constellation appears overhead, connecting with threads of light. There is a bright flash of white light, and the embodiment of a large Roc like bird of light appears in it's place. It swoops down at an intense speed and attacks, either with it's claw or simply by charging the entirety of it's body at the target. Drawback: The spell has a three post cool down between uses, and every time this is used its cost is increased by 10% for each use after the first one.

Deion found himself sighing again. "Man, I can't catch a break with you people. Can't we just sit down and get a drink? Talk it out like civilized and mature adults.", he reasoned, despite having just punched a man. He was currently holding another by the collar of his shirt, taking another drink. He dropped the guy and seemed relatively bored. "It's not that you guys aren't strong, but I'm just bored already. I have other things to do so could you all just surrender now.", he stated rather blandly.
A few decided to launch more weapons are him. Although this time, a few were some ranged spells. They seemed relatively low-leveled and Deion smirked. "Ha. ou think that's enough? --hic--", he stated, laughing as the air around him distorted brillantly, sending the weapons and blades elsewhere. He seemed quite proud of what just happen, regardless of his condition. That was, being slightly drunk of course. He didn't seem fazed when he feel over after being kicked in the stomach, although he managed to not puke.
He stood up slowly, staggering as he did so. He smiled through what pain he felt. "Hehehe... nice one. But I'm still moving.", he stated, moving in as his opponent moved in, each trying to deliver a blow to each other. They were quite even with each other, match hit for hit. Deion was impressed by this... mage? Deion was sent slightly back. "You... use a magic to enhance your strength.... interesting.", he stated, heading back in to play defensively.

Soul was breathing heavily As he fought five guys at once. Fatigue was beginning to take it's toll. He had been on a mission this mourning plus the fight with bother Master , and Deion. Well if you would call that little spat with Deion a fight. Still Soul was unaware of just how much Magic he had left. So he would need to be conservative.
Alright I'll just need to continue using my charkams. Soul thought as he Blocked a spear with one then broke it with the other. He then kicked the wielder in the chest knocking him back a few feet. However a blade soon found it self through soul's Shoulder. It took ever ounce of will power he had not to slice the man.
Instead Soul turned , and smashed the guy in the stomach with the flat side of the charkam. He began to pant as he pulled the blade from his arm. "Damn this hurts." was his only comment to the situation. His left arm almost rendered completely useless. A group of people charged at him from all sides. In the end he had no choice he used his inferno tempest. Sending the men flying in all directions. Now he was panting even heavier.
