Durriken grabbed the gun and ran after Vayate. As he ran two cards levitated from his deck of cards and stuck to each of his wrists. One was the Ace of Pentacles the other was his Seven of Swords. They were the only real defensive things he had unless Riley decided to use her magma magic.
“As I was saying before if you know how to land or are quick at learning I can make you really hard to hit otherwise I just got a normal round shield, not sure how many rounds it can take from these magical paintballs though, not really made to be used against magic.”
He was lucky that he wore no shoes since he realized his steps would be much softer in the forest then most people even if he didn’t know really how to move in the woods. He was a city boy at heart since there was no money having a circus in the middle of the forest.
“Seven of Swords lift me ever closer to the heavens.” He said as the light flared around him and his dark purple magic circle appeared beneath his feet making his feet glow in a soft white light. He didn’t put his all into it though since he wasn’t trying to move just show. He then easily jumped over Vi and moved to the side to match his pace as his feet stopped glowing.
“If you know how to roll or break your fall than I can let you jump too otherwise you will break or fracture bones in your legs.”

Riley watched with considerable amusement as everyone scattered, her magical words still twinkling in the sky, flashing vibrant colors as she glanced after the fleeing mages. "Do try to have fun," she said, though as everyone was much too far away to hear this is was more like she was hoping everyone would enjoy what was going on. Stretching a little, she leisurely strolled along, bringing her hands behind her back, she held them there, fingers intertwined as she walked, humming softly to herself while trying to decide how hard she wished to make it on everyone.
She was most widely known for her magma magic, of course, most everyone who know her knew about her destructive magic, but few, very few knew of her first mage type, Heavenly Body. She used bits and pieces of it here and there, but generally not enough to make a conclusive deduction about it.
"Hmm, I'll stick to the magma magic for now, and maybe later on given them a taste of something a little different," the dark haired girl mused, her hands still behind her back as she walked along with perfect balance, in spite of the shaking of the ground beneath her feet.
After a few moments, this rumbling passed, after all, she did not want anyone to get used to the motions, she wanted to keep everyone on their toes. There were many powerful mages in Fiore, and she had learned that hard way that not all of them were a pleasure to deal with. As such, she had arranged a guild event with Fawn, the primary objective being to have fun, as well as get to know the other guild, which would subtle hide the training and lessons that they would hopefully learn along the way.
She paused a moment at this, looking around. There was no one near her, no one to see her using her magic, and so she discarded her earlier thoughts of keeping her Heavenly Body magic for later, after all, this would be the most interesting to use.
As such, she released her hands, bringing them before her, one hand closing a golden-white, the other a jet black. She swung both of her arms in an arc, and there was an equal number of black and white orbs, a single orb for each person. A relatively weak attack, but a tricky one. These orbs would follow their assigned target, until they either hit their mark or were somehow destroyed. Humming softly to herself, she snapped her fingers, and the orbs shot off towards their targets.
"Let's see how you like these..." she murmured, soon slipping her hands back into her pockets and carrying on.

Durriken heard something break behind him and by instinct he jumped. With the aid of his card he was lifted seven feet into the air and the orb Riley sent at him hit him just in the heel which sent him into a back flip.
“Ahrg!” he yelped out as he was sent spinning.
“Company!” he was able to yell as he saw another going toward Vayate right before he landed flat on his back. He was ashamed at not being able to stick a simple back flip but at the moment didn’t really have time to consider how it wasn’t his own initiated one and his momentum as all wonky from being hit.
“Crap crap crap” he chanted as he pushed himself up and began to sift through his cards. “Where is it where is it where is it‼‼!” he muttered to himself in a frantic tone.
When he finally found it his feet stopped glowing and he threw the card into the air and then ducked as the orb soared back at him.
“Tarot Art: Ace of Wands”
When he yelled out the name of the spell the card flashed with bright light and his staff quickly appeared. He pushed more energy into the spell to make it appear faster. He plucked it from the air as he ran closer to Vayate before tossing it to the man.
“Batter up!”
Durriken would then try and get as close to Vayate and stay as close as possible to reduce the strain of having to maintain his staff. The further it strayed from him the harder it was to keep around.

Fawn was smiling, The event had seemingly gotten off to a grand start, She was running around with her partner Tristan, The gentle breeze against her face, She shot her paintball gun a few times but seemed to miss a lot of her targets. She was starting to realize she didn't have great aim when it came to these things. She could probably do better using her own magic, but given the contest that would put her at a slightly unfair advantage given the paint-balls are infused with her magic to begin with.
Suddenly she came into contact with one of Miss Riley's attacks, the orb flew at her, giving Fawn very little time in order to dodge it, which she managed to do by falling to the ground as it came inches away from hitting her, "Wooo, Thank Goodness." She said looking up, only to have a depressed grin when she realized it was turning around.
Everything was happening so fast that Fawn didn't even notice the sky was starting to darken, it began getting more cold, but Fawn was busy running away from a ball of energy. "What am I going to dooooo!" Fawn said with with a exasperated tone before finally figuring out that she could cause it to run into a tree.
She quickly hid behind a tree, and it hit it, but of course the blast knocked the girl a few feet into the air and she ultimately landed pretty hard of her bottom. "Owww.... That wasn't the brightest thing to do I think..." She felt a drip of water go down her camouflaged helmet and land on her nose, then suddenly it began to pour down with vigor. She sighed, the weatherman had predicted sunny skies all weekend, which is why they planned to do this now... But it seemed like they were wrong.
She sighed and ran towards a tree for cover, sighing as she took her helmet off, and pulled out a megaphone from her backpack, figuring they would need to cancel the match, especially since rain would wash out any of her magical paint. She looked up at the sky, was it just her, or did something feel...strange about this... She felt the rumbling of thunder. Suddenly a bolt of lighting struck the tree she was standing under, it felt like something grabbed her for a second.
She screamed out in surprise and ran for more cover before using the megaphone to announce, "The event is canceled for now, Thank you for coming! Any member of Fairy Tail is welcomed to stay at Griffin Wing's Guild for the weekend. Please take shelter at the camp site until the storm has passed."
She headed back to the camp, looking into the sky, she saw the storm reached out as far as she could see on the hill overlooking the city. She looked out and kept watch waiting for everyone. She sighed and started to get undressed inside her tent. Butting on her typical hoodie and hat. "This has been a disaster..." She said sitting down and pouting.
She laid down on her sleeping bag, wondering if Miss Riley would come and talk to her about what they should do with the event. I guess once the storm stopped they could resume, but... That storm felt different. She wasn't confident that something like it wouldn't happen again. Not to mention, something felt really odd in her, It was like she was sick to her stomach, but wasn't. She felt different, something was wrong with her... but she didn't know what it was really.
For some reason she decided to change the color of tent, she wasn't sure why, sometimes she just liked changing the colors of things. She touched it, and nothing happened. She poked it again, but nothing happened. She started to feel a sense of dread crawl up her back as she poked anything around her to try and get a feel for her magic, to change anything.
Nothing was happening. She cried out, "My magic is gone!!!" She opened the tent and looked around. It seemed like that storm had done something. She ran off towards the city with a few tears in her eyes, There had to be some kind of doctor that could tell her what was going on! She should have stopped to think things trough more logically, but she was simply in a panic.

Trudging through the woods Chris managed to avoid the sudden downpour. He noticed the clouds gathering earlier right when the paintball game began to start and he didn’t want to be caught out in the open. That and Tsubasa seemed to disappear right after the game was announced; so Chris was sure he was without a partner. Besides neither side would miss him because he wasn’t part of either guild. He just hoped that the two leaders of the guilds didn’t ask questions.
Stopping beside a large tree Chris looked up at the open sky above him. The cloud was already passing by after drenching the camp, so Chris wasn’t too concerned about getting wet. His mind was actually on something completely different. How he came to fear women; even though he’s attracted to them.
Shaking his head Chris continued to head towards town. Hopefully he could find a mission or something that would take his mind off the awkward situation he found himself in. Though a nagging thought pulled at the back of his mind. Where was Tsubasa?

Heard Durri's shout and watched in awe at the magic preformed by his guild master, not for its power, as obviously it wasn't an offensive move, but for its beauty. He then acted quickly as he pointed his staff at the woman and said, "Let fly the winds of change! Sagitta Magica - Lightning form!".
Within mere seconds six arrows of lightning had formed around his staff's head in a circle, and fired outwards aiming to push Riley away and provide them cover, whilst fired two rounds to possible dodging points of each arrow, just in case.
He ran to Durri saying, "Are you alright? And don't worry about me I am quite agile. Lets get outta here though before someone begins shooting at us.".
As he began running into the natural embankment, which consisted off a rock wall on three sides, several trees for cover, and a slight overhanging top. overall, it was a perfect defensive point for them to remain, he stopped before heading into the "cave" of sorts, he said,"Durriken, I am glad your my partner.".

Durriken ducked into the cave as the sky decided to open up drenching the outside with rain. As the lightening cracked and the thunder boomed Durriken sat against the wall and shivered slightly as a chill went up his back. It wasn’t remotely cold and the wind wasn’t blowing but for some reason it just felt like something was wrong.
“I think we should stay here until it ends and then head back, I think I heard Fawn saw this was all canceled.”
