So a topic came up about the traveling system.
Obviously, we all headbutt each other about it,
however, as I promised and had given it some thought.
Currently, nothing will change.
After talking about it with Shinzu, we've come
up with a new system and I think it's much more
of taste. It makes sense if you give it a bit
of thought so let me just explain what I mean.
Right now we are in a site plot timeline.
Henceforward, this will be called the conflict
period. During times of conflict, traveling
will be more restricted (what it is currently).
During any time of conflict; movement is a bit
restrictive. It also allows us to do certain
things for the sake of the site plot. One good
example is south Fiore with an outbreak of the
Deadly Crow Virus. If we didn't have travel limited
during this time then there is no way that we
could have done that. It keeps thing interesting
and does the unexpected. Additionally, random quests
are more likely to happen. Meaning that staff
has the right to hop in a thread and give a random
quest. Usually, these random quests are towards the site plot.
Peace period: This is between conflict
periods and no global site plot is happening. This is
exactly what we call the peace period. Traveling during
this period is not confined. This means that you do not
have to worry about deciding which board you are on and be
in multi boards at once. Quests and random quests are least
likely to occur.
