The town has gone to hell. Everyone is blaming each other for the outbreak and the town has split in three groups presently. Mages and humans are keeping to themselves and away from each other. The last group is the infected. I've just woken up recently and I have no idea on what the world government has been doing in the meantime. No doubt they're taking counter measures for the outbreak since this is their problem too. I've been keeping himself hidden from the town over the night. Apparently, last night the out break began to spread. I am not sure what has caused this just yet, but that is not important right now. What is important is that I need to do something about this. I can't let myself to be a bystander. Last night, I had gotten some new clothes for myself because it just be awkward if I met Riley again after punching me through the wall.
Most of my injuries are healed. It just minor cut and bruises but otherwise I'm OK. I stand on top of a roof but keeping watch around the area. I am trying to get the bottom of this and find a way to cure everyone. Right now, I lack information. I need to keep to myself and be out of the public view whiles keeping a distance from all three factions. Maybe even away from the world government. I am not sure if I can trust them or not. It's about 11am, and the city feels so grey to me. In the distance, is smoke that probably from a riot fire.

Riley had heard about the spreading of some magical disease, but most people had wisely chosen to avoid her so she hadn't yet had a close encounter with it (though she wasn't sure what their particular reasons were, she was sort of getting used to being treated like the plague itself at this point). It hadn't taken her long to figure out that she really couldn't do anything for the victims of the disease, so she did the only thing she could do - keep her distance and keep moving forwards with her plans.
After working tirelessly to clear the area of rubble, she managed to expose the foundation of the basement, which would probably need to be dug up and redone based on the plans that she had been working on in her free time. Still, she felt she was making good progress, and she had only abandoned her project in order to find a library. She didn't know much about castles, but if she was going to rebuild the guild she was going to build it properly and she was going to do everything that she could in order to secure it - which meant starting from the ground up.
Having reduced the pull of gravity on herself, she was jumping from roof to roof with ease - though she fell much more slowly it was still more convenient than having to walk the streets or zipping around in her Stellar Body form and wasting precious magic.
She had bounded onto a rather tall building when she spied someone else standing there, starling her for an instant. The person was back on to her, but somehow they seemed familiar, and she couldn't quite place it just yet even though she felt it was on the tip of her tongue...

With the town in ultimate chaos due to the fact this sudden outbreak of a disease, people were frantically running around and screaming while others sought out the opportunity to break down doors and buildings. Hey! If you're dying, best go down with a bang. As the station had been barred off from its usual connections, people were now taking the long way around. People were running in terror and some even left behind their family. In a corrupted world like this it became blatantly obvious just what everyone truly cared about to the point they became blind towards each other and crashed into each other with a violent fit of profanity and accusatory words bouncing everywhere. The mayor stood there on his podium and tapping at the microphone, but nobody paid heed. He wanted to know answer and soon. Taking a slow, deep breath he decided to shout into the microphone; the sound system blaring out. "WHOEVER FIGURES OUT THE MYSTERY BEHIND THIS WILL BE PAID HEFTILY!"

Out in the distance, I hear a booming voice. It seems it falls on deaf ears as the violence doesn't stop at all. I need to do something, but I am not sure what. The mere I watch the violence the angrier I get. I begin to have an anxiety attack. My vision begins to go dark, and I feel strange throughout my body. My body begins to shake uncontrollable. I begin to sweat hard from my head, and my breathing become shallow.
Damn it! I'm so pathetic! Just by watching and getting angry is putting me like this! I reach into my cheap pants pocket to find my medication. Damn it, it's still at the hotel. My legs begin to get weak and still unaware of Riley's presence behind him. I hear voices telling me how useless I am. I crawl over to the edge of the roof.
“I can't let this happen. I need my medication, but-” My voice trails off. Just below me is the store being looted. There are people in there. I hear screaming, items breaking, shelves being knocked over. I even hear children down there. Slowly, I feel some of my strength returning, but not in a good way. The other me is laughing. I feel my face slowly forming a sadistic smile. “Ha ha, sounds like I should give them boys a good whipin!”

The man that had is back to her began talking and she instantly recognized the voice, particularly the rush for medication. Ah, that reminded her!
Reaching into her pocket, she pulled out a bottle of pills, giving them a rattle to catch the man's attention. Since she had been holding them overnight after finding them on her way back to her room she had read the label this time, if only in passing. He probably needed them, and as pissed off as she had been at him she probably should have thought of it sooner.
Hmn, did the way he was speaking just change? He seemed a lot less timid and anxious all of a sudden. It was probably best to call out to him and give him the damn things to get it over with...
"Looking for something, Aether?" She called, still rattling the bottle. "You should probably tie something as important as this around your neck if you're going to keep losing it."
There was quite a commotion going on below them, but she paid it little heed. She had come to discover that introducing herself to already tense situations usually just made matters worse. A whole lot worse, in fact.

With a rush and a cry, the mayor stood there looking around before sighing and pushing the mic away to the point it made a loud receiving high pitched scream that rung the ears. He threw his hands up in a "wasn't me" gesture and turned on his heels quicker than lightning into the building with a mass of "nope"
With panic breaking out around, a mage sat in a tree while polishing his blades with a delighted grin over the craze that was emitting beneath him. The pleasure of minor bloodsheds caused his smile to crack wide and the sense of a strong magic presence came from the roof. Sheathing his sword, he pulled his cloak over his head and leaped up the tree until he was on the thinnest branch; watching them from afar and lunging a dagger in their direction.
The dagger seemed to hit the pill bottles out of Owl Master's Riley's hands and he made sure to follow en suite. Were they there for this bounty? He didn't care. Landing afar from them on another roof, he sheathed his sword and sat down to watch the madness. Sure is fun to watch people kill each other, huh?" He asked casually, swinging his legs. "For shame, Riley. For shame. I see the magical power of that delightful disease spreading. Whatever shall we do? Oh! I know. Let's watch the bloodshed begin and Onibas will soon enough turn into a ghost town"

“Ha ha ha....” I'm not sure who is laughing exactly as I watch the pill lands on the ground. I scramble across the roof and grab some of the pills. I'm forcing whatever amount of pills I can get a hold of to go down my throat. There is no taste, and it's going to take a little while to kick in. Physically, I'm feeling myself returning. Mentally, I'm going to sleep. As if it a door is closing in a dark room while another left the room.
I'm back in control, but it seems the door is cracked open. I don't have a whole lot of time until the medication kicks in. I stand on my feet and look at Riley for a moment. “Tch, why you had to show up with those disgusting pills. I would kill you, but I don't have enough time to do that.” Oh, but there is someone here I do have much time to kill. I turn to look at the man who was gracious enough to destroy those nasty pills. If he destroyed them completely I might have kissed the guy. “I don't know what you're talking about, but allow me to explain just how fucked you are. You breathe now, because I allow it. You stand there because I allow it. If you pass gas, it's because I allow it! However, I'm mighty thirsty right now. It's not very often that I get to come out and play.” To be capable to breath, able to see, able to touch, to feel hunger is not something I've been granted.
“THREE FUCKING YEARS AND THE CLOSES THING OF ANY SORT OF VIOLENCE and sexual action are within a few days. So now, I'm going to stop granting you permission to live.” I pick up the dagger he had just thrown and begin casting magic over it. The knife begins to float and then move an alarming speed towards the man in the cloak. The blade at first just cut him in various places of his body. If the man is not able to stop the attack, then knife will speed up. This time, they will go right through his body. However, none of those knives hit anything vital until the final strike. If he is still unable to do anything. The knife will move at such a rapid speed that despite it size, the knife will cut his head clean off. “Looks like my time is almost up. I can't wait for Aether to see this!?”

A dagger knocked the bottle out of her hand, sending pills scattering all over the rooftop, which Aether skittered after, popping as many as he could find as quickly as he could. Directing her attention in the direction that the dagger had appeared from, she slowly retracted her hand, not seeming terribly alarmed by the presence as she shoved her hands into the pockets of her jacket and watched the person with half lidded eyes.
It seemed she found herself surrounded by a whole lot of crazy as Aether threatened her from bringing the pills that he had been desperately searching for before apparently disregarding her entirely in order to head off after the person that had thrown the dagger. He was babbling on about something but the words hardly reached her ears.
Just a couple of years ago she would have stepped in to prevent anyone from getting killed, but she was older now, perhaps colder. If two people thirsting for blood and chaos wanted to kill each other, then who was she to stop them? The wind ruffled her hair and she drew her eyes away from the two of them, allowing her gaze to drift over Onibas, which had similarly erupted into chaos.
"How troublesome." She whispered, heaving a sigh. Turning back to the fight behind her, she decided to monitor what was happening here before moving on to deal with other matters.
Truth be told, she had no idea where to start with everything else.

The man seemed to go berserk just by those pills getting destroyed. A snide, evil smirk crawled across the mans face and he just laughed; eyes honing in on the foolish boy. With a quick, swift motion - the dagger suddenly changed routes and flung into the ground blade first. The man looked up at Aether and just clicked his tongue. "Try and use your brains." He stated rather bluntly, gesturing towards the chaos. "Instead of worrying about yourself, worry about the collateral beneath you." The woman seemed not to care and the man just scoffed, rolling his eyes and turning his head to the side, watching everything evolve beneath.
"I'm not here to fight. I assumed you were hiding the cure."

“I didn't give you permission to speak.” I'm about to lose time, damn it! I need to kill! My blood-lust won't be satisfied until I kill him! It's like finishing sex before anyone can "finish". THERE IS NO WAY I AM GOING BACK INSIDE THE ROOM BEFORE I KILL SOMEONE! Magic surges throughout my body. Anyone who can even slightly sense magic will be able to tell I am about to do some high level magic. First, I simultaneously increase the time in two different spaces around the man. One will be directly below him and the other behind him. Time in those locations will increase so fast that it will create friction. The man in the cloak will begin to feel very hot and then two powerful explosions will occur. “Sorry, but I am quite comfortable in this anarchy. This is Aether problem, not mine.” My time is finally over. The door is closing behind me. I turn around and face Riley. “To think my sister former Guild had produced a saint wizard.” I give out a small laugh as I remember the bath incident. I once again give her a thumb up. “Nightie night. Maybe next Riley we'll have fun together?” The door has closed as Aether walks through. I wake up and back in control. I am not sure what happen, but it seems the medication has kicked in. I feel good for some reason. I don't think it's a good thing knowing the other me. I also notice I am holding a thumbs-up to Riley? “Uh what happen? What happen among the people below us?” I am so confused, and I have so many questions. Something occurs to me. I might have said or did something strange. “Uh, did I do or say something bizarre?” I move back over to the edge of the roof to check on the conditions below. Spell Name: Rapid explosion Level: A Range: Long Description: The user can create an explosion at a location. By increasing time so fast that an explosion occurs. This can be done on an object, ground, or space around a person. Drawback: Despite time is rapidly moving so fast for the explosion to occur, the explosion is not instant. In fact, it gives a small spark where the temperature will increase and then explode. This all occurs within a second.

There was so much fighting going on around her that Riley scarcely knew where to look until the feeling of powerful magic drew her gaze. Though she watched things unfold with her own eyes, she had no idea what sort of magic she was looking at. Brow furrowed as Aether turned towards her, she braced herself for a fight, but he seemed more interested in babbling again.
"Sister?" She echoed, watching as he gave her a thumbs up, just like he had done the day before. She was about ready to give him the same treatment that she had at the hot spring when he suddenly seemed to come out of a stupor and peer around, lost.
"Hell if I know." Riley answered before she could stop herself, watching him warily. "Everything you do and say is strange..."
Frowning, she watched him move to the edge of the building and look downwards. Did he really not remember what had happened? "You got into a fight and started rambling like a madman." She answered, if only to humor him. As she recalled the other person, she looked towards the area where she had last seen him. "Then suddenly you were telling me about your sister and talking about having fun with me next time." She shot him a somewhat dark look, the events from the day before still very fresh in her mind.
Crossing her arms over her chest, she leaned back on her heels. "At this point, I think you owe me an explanation."

The man's eyes widened as the portals appeared above and below him. His eyes danced around at the sensation of the heat and before long he realised the explosions that occurred. All that was left was a cloak that seemed to float ominously away.
Meanwhile the council seemed to ponder what to do about the outbreak that had once again occurred within Onibas. While in an in depth conversation about how to evacuate before realising that they needed to do something about it. Their attention drew to the orb on the ceiling which shown what was currently happening in Onibas. The orb pointed towards the two on the roof and they watched closely. "Maybe they'll find something?" One of the council members idly pointed out.
"They graveyard may hint towards something since that's generally where the corpses are." Pointed out. "Try searching or investigating there,"

Before I jump off the roof and help the people below. Riley mentions I did, in fact, do something strange. Well, I really hoped that I may avoid this subject, but Riley not having that. I turn to facing Riley and remember about my pills. Damn it, what happen to them? I sort of forgot, and I am not sure if I want an answer. I reverse time over the bottle and contents. As time reverse, everything about the bottle is now restored. I grab the bottle and put it in my pocket.
“I had hoped to avoid this subject.” I let out a sigh, and I suddenly have new memories. I remember now that I have a younger sister. “Hm, my sister Eve? Oh yeah, wasn't she the founder and creator of your guild?” Sometimes, I get to remember things randomly that's usually from dreams. Another way I can gain memories is when “he” comes out. That stupid clown must have come out and done something bad. It's no wonder Riley confused and wanting answers. “I can only explain very little. I do not have a lot of memories before three years ago. My memories come back to me at random times.” I'm quite worried about the people below.
Why now of all times did he come out? "Every time my anxiety runs out of control, my other side comes out. Meaning, I have a split personality. The medication keeps my anxiety under control and keeps him suppress.” That is the jiff of everything. Of course, everything is much more complex than that. There are a lot of details that are left out, but I have no time to explain everything. “Now, I'm just trying to redeem all the sins I've committed while he was out.”

Well, she was pretty sure the psycho with the cloak was either dead or had vanished, but given the current state of things it was hard to be surprised by a single death. At any rate, that left her with the one crazy person, who used that curious magic to somehow bring his pill bottle back together. She didn't really understand what it did, but she couldn't help but be intrigued by it.
Aether continued to catch her attention when he brought up his relationship to Eve, her former master. Biting slightly on her bottom lip, she looked away for a few long moments, deep in thought. "Do you know what happened to your sister?" She eventually asked, finally dragging her gaze back to him. He had just revealed a huge gap in his memories, but maybe he might know where Eve went...
Although it probably didn't matter at this point, since she had already let the guild fall into ruin.
Shaking these thoughts from her head, Riley allowed herself to take in what he said about having a split personality - the medication came to mind, but also an old member of her guild. Miki had a separate personality inside that was a bit more... malevolent than herself.
The events of the previous day came to mind and she massaged the bridge of her nose while trying to make sense of it. Aether seemed pretty timid, he had anxiety and had stumbled upon her after her losing her towel and suddenly... Turned into a pervert? So Aether wasn't the pervert, it was another personality?
Her head throbbed at the thought, but she cleared her throat and joined him in standing on the edge of the building to peer down at the chaos below. "Jumping into the chaos and coming into contact with the disease wont help anyone." She quietly pointed out.

Chaos still ran aloof within the borders of Onibas as people tried to rush their way onto the train that had ceased its service due to worry of anyone catching the disease. People were also trying to break into buildings just because of this chaos and the police themselves had not yet bothered to take charge primarily because they were confused by the hustle and bustle.
With all this happening, the council continued to ponder and watch with their eyes on the lacrima vision which watched over the Onibas territory. "Perhaps we should send someone down there" Stated an older Council member. Before some could utter an agreement, another raised his hand and cleared his throat. "No, Wise." He stated abruptly. "I don't think it's smart to do so. We could end up catching it too and that's the last thing we want." "For now, Wise, we will just watch and see." Stated another, gazing over at the orb. "I still say the graveyard may have the answers they seek. Either that or the forest, but we don't want anybody going there." "I'm watching the crow count, it's ascending faster than one would imagine!"
<< Nothing happens as of yet, people are still falling in.
