Syo returned home. It felt like it had been a long time. He wasn't even gone for that long. Opening the door to that familiar place, Syo could smell that nostalgic scent. Luckily, there was no one home. Setting about his business quickly, he ran up to his own room and gathered whatever clothes he could and shoved them into a carry sack so he could carry it. He also grabbed some of his more practical things like the tent he kept for long distance travels across areas where there were no inns, cooking utensils and every other manner of camping gear. After gathering all of those, Syo took one last look in Syana's room. Steeling himself, he held his palm out to it and ignited the room and started setting fire to everything burnable in the house. His own room, the furniture, everything that he could set on fire, he did. And then walking outside, he once again tossed as much fire onto the house as he could. There was no risking the infection spreading to those he cared about. So burn it all down. Ah... I could have eaten something first...Without looking back, he vanished and started hiding somewhere. He needed to gather information however he could. Rii <3 Syo Side DONE

With the bags of groceries wrapped securely against both of her slender arms, the light mage was proceeding back towards her beloved home where she had high hopes of seeing Syo again today. The idea of running in to his arms and hugging him tightly made her hope she could run home quickly, of course that was until people were screaming about a fire in the vicinity she in fact lived. With her face turning pale, Sya began to fear that maybe something bad happened nearby and the fire was spreading.
As she picked up the speed, almost dropping the bags in the process of her awkward run. When she came up close to the group and pushed through at the rich scent of burning, what stood before her made her drop the groceries to the floor. Her arms dropped either side of her and her green eyes came face to face with the building in which she had deemed her home for the past three years. Being nothing more than charred remains and ash standing tall while other parts glowed with intense red heat. Taking a hesitant step back, one of the fire fighter took her shoulder and prevented her from moving forward.
One thing ran through her mind. Where was Syo? Was he in the fire and debris? She wanted to see. She knew of his affinity, but she didn't really care right now. She wanted to know if he had been caught in there, but unable to escape the clutches of the fire fighter; she found herself staring in sheer disbelief. Her home had been destroyed.
