Name: Midnight Murder Rank: C Posts Limit: 3+ Objective: Lyon Graveyard is the quiet resting place for the dead, however lately the deceased have had their final resting places dug up by grave robbers. Please teach these hooligans not to mess with our turf, after all this village isn’t big enough for two groups of grave robbers. Reward: 300 jewels Exp: 40 exp The area was bleak and desolate, the surrounding view obscured with a thick white fog that swallowed anything more than a couple meters away from sight. Truly, under the darkness of the night sky this was the perfect image of what one might expect a graveyard to look like. The only thing Shinzu hadn’t braced himself for however was the stench, the smell of freshly dug up rotting corpses wafting in the air. Clearly, they were here. Pressing his hand against a nearby tombstone to feel out its rough texture, Shinzu decided to follow the row of graves downwards while all the meanwhile leaving imprints of his shoes in the wet ground. After a few minutes rhythmic beats could be heard in the distance, which for a moment the mage mistook for the sound of his own heartbeat. Upon nearing the source however it became obvious that this was actually the sound of metal slicing into the earth before tearing it apart and tossing it to one side. No doubt, someone was shovelling.

Cautiously pressing forwards, Shinzu further closed the gap between himself and the shovelling noises as he slowly moved one foot at a time, not risking any fast or abrupt movements that may alert the grave diggers to his presence. As the fog gave way the outlines of two men would become clear, one tall and skinny who seemed to be doing nothing more than standing idle while the other short and muscular who had been doing the shovelling and most of the grunt work up until now.
Sensing no need fear these two common thugs, the mage simply walked up towards them with a glare. At this point the tall man’s figure had become more apparent as the fog thinned to reveal a grey jersey and stripped bandanna around his neck. The short muscular man on the other hand seemed to have ignored Shinzu for the most part and simply continued digging shirtless with orange fluffy hair and a red clown nose.

“A-A-Ahh I-Intrudaaah!” Stuttered the tall man who heavily slurred most of that sentence. A closer inspection revealed his tongue to be heavily swollen, the cause of which most likely allergies. With still no reaction from the muscular clown-like man, Shinzu grabbed a rusted shovel from a nearby bag full of them and a wide assortment of other tools before grasping it tightly and whacking the short man over the head. With a metallic clang the rusted handle of the shovel broke off and fell to the ground with a rattle along with the man who collapsed with a thud.
“I see. Mind control I assume, or was that man already dead?” With those words the tall man would trip over and begin crawling away in fear. Supposedly, he gave off the impression that he was nothing more than a lackey, though regardless Shinzu had completed his mission for the night and felt no need to delve any deeper into other people’s problems.
