Name: Midnight Murder Rank: C Posts Limit: 3+ Objective: Lyon Graveyard is the quiet resting place for the dead, however lately the deceased have had their final resting places dug up by grave robbers. Please teach these hooligans not to mess with our turf, after all this village isn’t big enough for two groups of grave robbers. Reward: 300 jewels Exp: 40 exp About to head home, Shinzu would notice a figure in the distance crawling away on all fours. Though the thick white fog would hide most of him, it was apparent from his tall outline and the fact that he was crawling that this was the man from earlier. Though the mage had already decided that there was no need to finish off this piece of trash, it was also equally true that if he let him run free then more of his gang may return one day. With this in mind, Shinzu decided to trail the coward through the dense fog, now with little idea where he was or might be heading. The surroundings at this point had become warped and shrouded by the dirty grey air, making it near impossible for the mage to tell whether he was still at the graveyard or had ended up in an entirely new location. Either way, with trailing his foe now the only thing he could do, turning back and wandering aimlessly through the dense fog was no option.

After what felt like an eternity, the man Shinzu had been trailing had finally stopped in a strange area surrounded by all manner of shapes and several orange glowing orbs. Eerily at that moment, the fog began to thin and dissipate, giving the mage a clearer view of his surroundings. The shapes from earlier were simply stone statues that had been cracked and eaten away by time, most likely markers for the graves below them. The floating orbs on the other hand revealed themselves to be nothing more than simple flames above a couple altars surrounding the four corners of the area.
Clearly without the fog to add a sense of mystery to the area, this place was hardly giving off the creepy vibes it was a few moments ago. This thought however swiftly left Shinzu’s mind as he heard laughter in the not so far off distance, the sound of which more than enough to send his mind back into reality. The tall man that the mage had been following to reach this place was now gone, most likely not bothering to stop until he was sure he had escaped.
Instead, what blocked the mages path now was a new foe that seemed rather large and muscular, the moonlight shimmering strongly against his bald head. The man in question seemed to be wearing a blood stained apron and clasped a giant butcher knife in his right hand which seemed ridiculously too large to serve any other purpose other than to hack human flesh into pieces. Similarly to the clown from earlier, this man seemed to have a blank expression on his face, as if he physically couldn’t do anything aside from one simple goal he had been tasked with.
Thinking back, Shinzu would realise that the clown from earlier could physically do little else but dig graves, such most likely being his only purpose in this world. Taking a glance at the gargantuan butcher in front of him, the menacing looking blood staining his clothing served as a rather huge hint as to what this zombie-like thing had been programmed to do. "I see. It appears that things are finally reaching the peak of excitement.”

“Vector Hop.” Muttered Shinzu silently as his body swiftly shot from one location to the next, narrowly avoiding the giant cleaver being sent downwards and into the cold ground with a harsh crash. Upon impact the butcher would waste no time in pulling it out, the act of which rupturing the ground and sending pieces of muddy earth everywhere as he continued to chase down the mage. Through his large size and muscular build only boasted of his massive strength, despite this large body mass he seemed impossibly fast, no doubt being a foe of a completely different calibre than the clown.
As the giant butcher approached with lightning fast speed, Shinzu would press the palm of his hands against the floor, causing a huge black arrow to form under his figure. As his foe swung his cleaver the weapon would immediately stop upon hovering just over the arrow before being pushed back towards its user in an abrupt movement. With likely no clue as to what had just happened, the back end of the cleaver dug its way into the butchers face, embedding itself deeply before he collapsed lifelessly. A closer inspection of where the butchers own cleaver had hit him revealed no blood, only cracks on his skin as if he had been made of glass or some sort of weak substance. At that very moment the flames from the altars also died out on their own, flickering in what almost seemed like a strange purple colour before completely vanishing. Just what was going on here?
