Name:Escort the Caravans Rank: C Posts Limit: 3 Objective: Across Fiore merchant caravans are being targeted, and are frequently losing all of their cargo to bandits, thieves, etc, and they have had enough. You are to escort a caravan on it's route, and ensure that anyone whom tries to interfere with your travels will think twice before ever doing the same thing again. Reward: 250 Exp: 40 Participating members: Riley, Vayate, and Durriken. Vayate would be seen leaning against the left side of the wall leading to the front door of Griffon wings guild hall being far enough away that he would not get hit if the door opened, as he waited for Durri and Ry, to hurry up and meet him there. His mind was racing through possible pick up lines and battle tactics. Disturbing combination? Maybe, but Vayate was far from the norm. His body was riddled with well toned muscle, which isn't abnormal for a mage, but it is for long range castor types. In Vayate's case he had forged his body into what it was to please women, as it makes him feel better when he is thought of as attractive or cute. As he waited a hand brushed through his medium length smokey gray hair, pushing his bangs to the left as his brilliant forest green eyes seemed to sparkle for a moment as he began fiddling with his chest plate tightening the leather straps some.

A loud laugh could be heard from oddly enough, the roof of Griffon Wing. The laugh itself was interesting because it was rarely heard. It was rapid but deep and came from the normally subdued Durriken. Normally he was so pre-occupied about keeping himself and others near him safe that he didn’t really get to act his age.
The only place he really felt safe was the circus because they all had each other’s backs and they were constantly moving. Griffon Wing was the same in the first count but being in the same place too long was dangerous in Durriken’s eyes.
If a person was situated far enough away from the hall they would see a teen in bright red cloths doing a series of high flips with glowing yellow feet. The flips were higher than a normal person could lift themselves with their own legs but Durriken just found out his newest card gave him the ability to jump to great heights. He continued to flip even as he approached the ledge and at the ledge he gave a large heave with his legs and tucked into a tight ball that caused him to spin a total of five times rapidly. He hit the ground still in the ball just as he was trained and continued to roll until he found his center and did one last flip landing on his feet. His hands high in the air to counterbalance his movement.
“Slupta!” he shouted instinctively.
He had no idea what slupta meant but that is what the gymnasts at the circus always yelled. It meant something in their native tongue but he always forgot to ask what it meant.
Breathing hard from the fun of the flips his feet stopped glowing as he cut the magic to the card.
“So, who else are we waiting on?”

"Hm, I believe it's almost time for me to go on that mission with the new guild member," Riley mused, having been reclined in the chair in her office on the second floor. She got to her feet, easily making her way out of the room and along the hallway, passing an open window in time to hear the loud laughter, she paused, glancing slowly outwards -just in time to hear Durriken thumping around on the roof (not that she knew whom it was). She arched a brow, beginning to lean out of the window, though instantly leaned backwards and Durriken flew downwards, tucked in a ball. He rolled around on the ground before easily leaping to his feet.
The guild master looked on in silent shock, as the boy then shouted something she could only assume was in his native tongue. After a moment of silence the shock passed, and she allowed herself a soft chuckle as she continued to make her way towards the stairs. "Seems like he's becoming more comfortable here," she mused, as she made her way down the stairs and pass the bar, "I'm glad for that," she smiled a bit to herself, closing her eyes as she made her way forwards, easily exiting the guild and spotting the somewhat unfamiliar face of Vayate, as well as Durriken, standing together.
"Ah, sorry I'm late..." She said, giving a soft smile to the both of them, she rose a hand to light ruffle her dark hair. "I forget if we've been formally introduced, but I am Riley Aquila," she stated, nodding a bit to him before looking to Durriken, "and hello again, Durri. Are you going to be joining us?" She wondered.

Upon seeing the young-man roughly his own age and his acrobatic act and shouting of a word he understood as "Slupta", he smiled lightly and stated, "Hey now, don't be doing that while we are guarding the merchants.", and after a slight grin he further added, "What language was that anyhow, mate? Slupta was it?.".
His attention then turned to the beautiful young woman in front of him that had greeted her self as Riley Aquila and he would bend slightly as he took her left hand in hand and kissed it slightly rising only to look her in the eyes his Brilliant forest green iris's sparkling form the sunlight as he said,"I do not believe we have had the pleasure of meeting beautiful, Riley was it? I am Vayate Firen Madorche, especially at your service.", he would preform a graceful bow as he finished his name returning again to look her in the eyes.

Durriken chuckled again as he rubbed the back of his head.
“I truthfully have no idea; it was just something some people at the circus said whenever they did something like that. And yes Mistress I will be joining you.” He said reverting to his formal tone for the last line.
Durriken rolled his eyes as the other teen started to get fresh with the Guild Master. He was tempted to get something more destructive out but he figured that wouldn’t be best to start a fight so early so he decided something less destructive.
With a well practiced motion he pulled out the Ace of Cups while the man was distracted and tossed it over his head. It spun at a high rate of speed right above Vayate’s head until it flashed with a magic circle and a large golden cup full of water appeared….upside down. It dumped a large amount of water on Vayate’s head before vanishing again with the card returning to Durriken.
“Respect, should be shown to all women and Madam Riley above all others.”
The water shouldn’t have hurt the man too badly, it was warm out and he would most likely dry out within the hour except for his shoes which may take a bit longer.
((OOC: If Vayate’s line was meant to be less flirty that I took it as let me know))

Riley blinked slowly as the young man took her hand and proceeded to place a kiss upon it. His eyes rose to her own and he introduced himself as well, making a special point to tell her that he was at her service, stressing this fact as he gave a bow. She gave a slight blush then chuckled a bit, seeming somewhat amused by his display, though she wasn't laughing at him so much as she was laughing at the shameless flirtatiousness that reminded her of someone else that she knew.
She assumed that he likely did not realize that she was the guild master, but did not yet get a chance to point this out as Durrkien seemed less than impressed with the boldness of the other male, Vayate. He summoned his golden cup, which spilled water onto Vayate's head. The guild master could only giggle a bit to herself at the somewhat amusing scene that was unfolding before her.
As Durriken pointed out that she should be respected, Riley's laughter quieted and she merely offered a smile to Vayate, "I am the guild master of Griffin Wing, it's strongest mage, and one of the strongest mages in Fiore," she pointed out, giving another soft chuckle as she knew very well that she certainly did not look like someone whom was powerful - and physically, she really didn't have much strength at all. In spite of this, what she lacked in physical power, she made up with in magical ability.
"I would have said that earlier, but I assumed you knew, my bad~" she murmured, looking between the two males as she did so. She noted that all three of them were roughly the same age, though she was quite likely the oldest, even if her petite form didn't necessarily suggest it.

Suddenly felt the water that was dumped on him and instead of getting angry he simply ran his right hand through his hair slicking it back and then said, "Thank you mate I needed that to cool myself down from the heat radiating off of Lady Riley here, because as it seems she is both gorgeous and strong, quite a hot and foxy combination in a lady if you ask me.", the first lines were directed at Durri as the rest was said while looking back into Riley's eyes, while winking as he finished speaking.
He then soon said while keeping his attention focused soley on riley, "So guild master hmm~ Quite an impressive title for one so young and beautiful. So I guess two Guilded Mages and Freelancer are out to watch a couple Merchants backs no? I suppose I would join up with your guild malady if you would so have me, and as long as you are the guild master.", he would bow to her once more, clearly being ostentatious with his flirting.

When the man continued to flirt with Mistress Riley he was tempted to throw him into the nearby fountain but the more rational part of his brain decided it would be better to leave it until Riley showed clear displeasure in the man’s company. He overstepped his boundary previously while around the women and would not like to do so again.
After calming down a few moments later he realized how stupid his previous idea was, he was considering using his new card to cool the man off but he never stopped to check if it could impart the movement itself or just enhanced his own jumping.
When the man bowed again he flashed the Ace of Staff’s at Riley with a wink to let her know he had her back. He hoped she remembered what the card could do from back when they threw some drunks out of the guild’s hall. He had it back in with the others though before the man stood though.
“Shall we be off Mistress?”

The man continued to throw compliments at her, to which Riley merely chuckled a little to herself, having long grown used to this sort of behavior. She caught his wink, and though she was laughing a little to herself she didn't seem terribly moved by his words. "Mmhm, I am the guild master, for better or for worse," she gave her head a bit of an absent nod, before contemplating for a few long moments, "I have been for quite some time now," she mused.
The young man continued to speak and she listened, "anyone is free to join the guild, so long as they're doing it for the right reasons," she assured, watching the man bow, she spied Durriken flashing her a somewhat familiar looking card that made her smile at him, "we'd be glad to have you, of course, if you truly wanted to join... And not just because I'm the guild master," she laughed a bit once more, her emerald eyes dancing, "being in a guild is nice though. I imagine it's like a family. Everyone is close, even when they're fighting, and they look out for each other, it's certainly a good place to be..." Her voice trailed off and she once more looked to Durriken.
"Ah, yes, let's get going, we can walk and talk," she stretched a bit where she stood, "if we're lucky they'll let us ride in one of their carts," the dark haired girl added, striding forwards as she did so, she paused, "but, Durri, my name is Riley, you don't have to keep addressing me so formally, you're my friend," she assured him, giving him her usual kind smile as she did so.

Mused for a but a moment as she seemed at most uninterested in him, and began walking with them towards the merchants location. His mind racing with ideas and comments to perhaps win over this girl somehow. While in teh meantime he looked at Durri and spoke, "Hey mate, what is it exactly your magic can do? Also Durri was it? Call me Vayate, or Vi for short.", he had nothing against the man, and actually kind of admired his tenacity to protect Riley's innocence.
After speaking towards Durri it finally hit him, what woman didn't like a well toned body, and besides his open arms he doubted that she could tell that any other part of him was as well toned. Even though this could very well leave him inevitably attached to Griffon wing, for some reason Riley Aquila's mere presence swayed his mind to reason.
And so he began by undoing the straps on his armor and once finished he removed it and held the cuirass in his left hand which would reveal his well toned and muscular body, before turning and saying towards Riley,"Guild-mark me, here.", he of course was pointing at his left pectoral muscle, meaning that he would force her to touch his chest. Perhaps this would have the desired effect perhaps not.

Before Riley could answer Vi Durriken interrupted.
“Allow me m…Riley” he said correcting himself quickly. Once he got a nod of approval he ran into the guild and with skills he didn’t like to admit he had.
“Hmm…maybe I should suggest she get a lock with more tumblers put in, that was way too easy.” He mumbled to himself as he entered the door. His mind was set at ease though when he noticed the Gryphon sitting in her office.
“Hi Griff, just grabbing something more Miss Riley.” He said to the creature before grabbing the stamp.
The gryphon looked at him for a moment like it was going to make a fuss but when Durriken only grabbed the guild stamp it laid its head back down and resumed its nap.
He ran back out and walked up to Vi.
“Hold still now.” He said, a small hint of flirtation in his voice.
He then pressed the stamp into the man’s chest. It could be interpreted as accidental even though it wasn’t, but Durriken dragged his fingers softly over the pectoral muscle, just missing the nipple wile pressing gently to feel the strength of the muscle beneath it. Before removing his hand a second longer then required to place the stamp correctly.
Flirting with a man didn’t bother him, most people in the circus could act and more then you would suspect were at least bisexual. If you knew that flirting would earn you more money, you flirted.

Riley hummed a little to herself as she walked, a hand rising to her face and gently tapping at her soft lips as she meandered forwards. She could hear something going on behind her, but didn't pay it much heed as she continued onwards, eying the merchant carts and wondering if one of them would let the trio ride, because truly she didn't feel like walking. If possible, she would like to perhaps have a nap, or at the very least sit back and rest a bit.
She heard Vayate speak up, asking for a guild-mark, and as she turned to spy the man bare-chested, she arched a brow, looking just a tad startled - this expression intensified as Durri agreed to get the stamp and practically bolted from her sight. The dark haired teen spent a moment looking after the younger male, hesitant to look back at the exposed Vayate. Several awkward moments passed, and she slowly looked to him, her curiosity as to what he was trying to accomplish by bearing himself so boldly was simply too much to contain.
For a moment she watched him, brow arched. She had stamped a few people, even on the chest - of both males and females - but this time it somehow felt more awkward. She couldn't place why, but it was a somewhat unsettling feeling.
Thankfully, Ddurri soon returned with the stamp, and even seemed to want to stamp the other man, which was well enough. She cocked her head a bit at his strange tone of voice. Riley's deep green eyes watched intently as the young man seemed to flirt with Vayate as he placed the stamp - which was rather amusing, really, to see the man getting a taste of his own medicine so to speak.
She couldn't help but chuckle a little, raising a hand to muffle this sound - and yet her eyes watched them both carefully, as she was certain that not many men would be able to accept another male being so flirtatious with them.
"Welcome to Griffin Wing, Vayate," she managed to say, the hand slowly falling away from her mouth as she spoke, "you are now officially a member of this guild. Welcome to the family."
As dysfunctional as we may be...

Noticed as Durri ran off to grab a stamp as he said, and then was left staring at Riley's form himself now, noticing her wandering eyes, perhaps he did finally grab her attention? Perhaps not.
And then he returned, the young man who was like him, beautiful to say the least. As he caressed his pectoral he caught gaze with the man and smiled that, heart melting smile he has used on countless women before, to appeal to him as he grabbed hold of the mans hand and spoke softly and tenderly, "Hmmm got a lively one here? And I am sorry I didn't notice before, quite a good looking one as well.", it wasn't necessarily that Vayate was bisexual but he could appreciate beauty in all its aspects.
With his new guild seal, and family as it were he would attach his cuirass back on and continue walking with them, spotting the caravan now just a small ways away. And so he spoke to both of them, " I suppose you might want to know what I am capable of now hmm?".

Vi’s smile didn’t affect Durriken directly but he did notice so he smiled a nervous smile and looked away slightly with his sparkling green eyes. This cast his hair at an angle that they were mostly hidden from Vi.
“Now now, you sure you don’t have a bit of gypsy in you with that silver tongue?” he said casting his emerald eyes upward back at the man as his mouth formed a playful smirk.
“And I am I very interested in all you can do, but we can wait until later to figure that out, will be more interesting that way.” He said with a glint in his eyes that could be mistertrpeted.
Before Vi could respond to him one on one Durriken was off as well catching up with Riley keeping pace with her two steps behind her and a step to her right.

Riley chuckled to herself as she could hear the boys bantering back and forth behind her. It was certainly amusing, and the two of them seemed to get along fairly well, which pleased her, to say the least. She liked it when new guild members just sort of fell into place with the existing ones, but she was also glad to see that Durriken seemed to be letting loose a little. He had been wound pretty tight when she had first met the young man.
"Hmm, now that you mention it I don't think you've seen my magic, either, Durri," she mused, tapping her lips softly, "more then likely we'll all get a chance to show off, though," she assured, stroking lightly at jaw, thoughtfully, she came to a stop and allowed the pulled carts to comes to them.
The merchants came to a stop before them, the dark haired teen exchanged a few words with a man that was likely their leader, before gesturing for the boys to follow as she easily hopped into a somewhat empty cart with a canopy, where she sat herself down and leaned back into it with a bit of a sigh. Slowly, she tucked her hands behind her head and reclined a bit, waiting for the two to clamber in as well so that they could be on their way.
